Hello.
And welcome to your meditation practice.
My name is Alexa Daniel.
And today you will be guided through a full moon release and reset.
The start of the meditation will be marked by one chime.
The end with two.
Find your seat or settle into whatever position allows your body to feel both supported and spacious.
Allow your spine to lengthen gently,
As though something above you is drawing you upward.
Not an effort,
But an invitation.
Allow your eyes to close,
Or let your gaze rest softly downward.
Tonight,
The moon is full.
Somewhere above you,
Whether visible or hidden behind a cloud.
The moon has reached its fullest potential.
And you are here,
Beneath her light,
Ready to do the same.
Begin with a breath.
Inhaling slowly through the nose.
And exhaling through the mouth.
Releasing anything you no longer wish to carry into this practice.
And again,
Breathing in,
Drawing in spaciousness.
And breathing out.
Releasing what is ready to go.
Allow your shoulders to soften,
Your jaw to loosen its grip.
One more breath in,
Harmonizing your body with this moment.
And exhale,
Letting go completely.
Allow your breath to return to its own rhythm.
Trust it.
For beneath the full moon,
Even the breath knows how to rise and fall like a tide.
With your next breath,
Allow your awareness to travel beyond the walls,
Beyond the room,
And beyond the hour.
Until you find yourself standing beneath an open night sky.
The full moon hangs before you,
Luminous and complete.
Her light is silver and unhurried.
Falling over everything it touches,
Without judgment,
Without condition.
Illuminating equally what is beautiful and what has long stayed hidden.
Feel her light reach you now,
As it moves across your skin like something remembered,
Soft,
Ancient,
Entirely without urgency.
Wherever this light touches,
It asks nothing of you.
It simply reveals.
Sense,
Somewhere within you.
A place that has remained in the shadow.
A belief,
A pattern,
A weight you have carried so long you forgot you were carrying it.
You do not need to name it perfectly.
Simply sense its shape the way you would sense a shoreline in the dark.
And allow the moonlight to fall there.
Let it pour gently into that shadowed place.
Not to expose it harshly,
But to illuminate it with the same tenderness she offers everything else.
For what has lived in darkness was never something to fear.
It was only ever waiting to be seen.
Picture this old weight now as something tangible.
A stone,
A thread.
A garment worn thin.
Sense it resting in your open hands.
And when you are ready,
Lift your hands toward the moon.
Allow it to receive what you no longer need to hold.
Watch it dissolve into her light.
As easily as mist lifting from water.
Standing in this borrowed moonlight,
Recognize what is true for you in this moment.
What have you been carrying?
Name it honestly,
Without judgment.
Perhaps it's exhaustion,
Doubt.
Perhaps it's an old story about who you are.
Simply recognize it,
The way the moon recognizes the tide without needing to control it.
And now,
Allow it.
Allow this truth to exist exactly as it is,
Without the need to fix it,
Fight it,
Or rush it toward resolution.
The moon does not ask the night to be day.
She simply illuminates what is already there.
Allow yourself the same grace.
Gently bring a curiosity to where this lives in your body.
This truth.
Is there a weight in your chest,
A tightening at your throat?
A heaviness behind your eyes.
Or something completely different and personal to you.
This curious exploration.
You do not need to change it.
Only meet it.
The way you would meet an old friend with recognition and care.
And now offer this part of yourself something tender.
You may place a hand over your heart if you are moved to.
Speak inwardly to whatever has been hiding in shadow.
And repeat in your mind.
I see you.
You no longer have to carry this alone.
You are allowed to release it and you are allowed to be whole.
And now,
As you stand here bathed in fullness,
Allow these words to settle into you.
Not as something to believe,
But as something to remember.
I release what no longer serves me.
I embrace all that is here to support my becoming.
I harmonize my energy with the rhythm of this moment.
I welcome light into every place that has lived in shadow.
I am whole.
I step into my fullness exactly as the moon has stepped into hers.
I embrace the journey of my becoming.
Begin now to let the imagery soften and recede.
The night sky,
The moonlight,
The open hands.
They remain with you not as a place you visited,
But as something you carry.
Something that stays with you with every step.
Start to bring your awareness gently back to the breath.
Let it deepen.
Drawing you back into this room,
This body,
And this moment.
Inviting micro-movements of the fingers and toes.
Your body begins to remember itself.
Without rushing the return.
And when you are ready,
Allow your eyes to open,
Soft and unhurried.
Let the light of the room,
Or whatever light surrounds you now,
To feel like an extension of the moonlight you just stood beneath.
This is a reminder that you do not need a full moon to remember what you just touched.
That fullness was never out there.
It is a reflection of what already lives in you.
Bathe yourself with this knowing and elevate your awareness to meet it.
Carry this quiet strength with you,
Your own light,
Your own gravity,
Steady and luminous,
Long after the moon has begun to wane.
Thank you for joining me in this full moon release and reset meditation.
I hope you take what you need and leave what you don't.
Embracing your own light and fullness.
Until we meet again.
