Hope you're as excited about today as I am.
It's going to be a great day.
And I am so excited to deliver this meditation to you,
To give you something that will bring more energy,
More optimism,
More positivity,
And just more zest into your day so that you can lead your day with success and with lots of productivity and have it go your way.
And if it doesn't,
Then at least give you the tools to overcome whatever doesn't go your way.
Let's jump straight into it.
Find yourself seated comfortably.
Ensure that your back is upright.
And gently close your eyes.
Find your center.
Let's take a deep breath in.
Slowly exhale.
Relax as you breathe out.
We're going to start this meditation with one minute of breath of fire.
And how that works is you're going to breathe in and out of your nose as fast as you can.
It's going to sound like this.
Okay,
We'll do it together so you don't have to worry.
But fast in and out through your nose for the next minute before we transition into the meditation that'll wake you up and give you this boost that you may need,
Almost like a good cup of coffee.
So let's begin.
10 seconds.
And slow deep breath in.
And breathe out as much as you can.
Breathe everything out.
And hold.
And take another deep breath in.
And slowly exhale away some of that tension.
Relax your muscles as you breathe out.
Deep breath in.
Slowly exhale.
Let out more of that heaviness.
And one last time,
Take a deep breath in.
Notice how your body feels right now.
Notice the kind of energy you're carrying this morning.
Where in your body does the energy lie?
Have any muscles tensed up unconsciously?
And if so,
Identify where your muscles may be a little tense and relax your muscles.
Just notice your body and find your center.
Notice your heart.
Can you feel your heart beating?
At what pace are you breathing?
Just relax a little further.
Relax your jaw,
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your arms,
Your belly,
Your legs.
Let's begin with the following question.
What kind of day do you want to have today?
Go ahead and give yourself the first answer that comes to mind.
You don't have to overthink this.
You don't have to overthink it.
You don't even have to have an answer straight away,
But let it float around.
What kind of day do you want to have today?
What would be required of you to achieve that?
Picture the best version of yourself,
Who you are when you are at your best.
How do you walk?
What posture do you walk with?
How do you carry yourself?
How do you talk?
How do you respond to adversity when you are at your best?
Take a few moments to see if you can visualize this.
What emotions run through your body when you are at your best?
It's like a deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly breathe out.
Remember that this version of yourself is you.
It's just you being your authentic self and they are always in there.
Now what about today are you looking forward to the most?
Is there something that you're looking forward to today?
It could be something as simple as lunch or as big as speaking to a certain someone.
There's no right or wrong,
But is there something about today that you are looking forward to?
No answer is too small and no answer is too big.
Have a few moments.
How do you feel when you bring it to mind?
Excited?
Comfortable?
Notice how your body responds.
Notice how you feel.
Let's take another deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly breathe out.
Slowly breathe out.
Relax a little further as you exhale.
Now is there something about yourself that you are grateful for?
What quality or trait do you carry that you are grateful for?
What about yourself are you most grateful for?
Have a few moments to think about that.
How does it make you feel when you acknowledge it?
Now repeat the following affirmations after me.
Three times.
Today is mine.
Today is mine.
One more time.
Today is mine.
How do you feel when you say that?
Today is yours.
You are responsible for every action that you take and you have the power to deal with anything that comes your way because you are a force to be reckoned with.
You are a remarkable human being with the capacity to handle things you never thought you could.
Repeat the following after me three times.
I've got this.
I've got this.
My friend,
Today is yours.
Today is yours.
You are going to make the most of today and regardless of what happens,
You will use whatever happens today to grow,
Learn and become wiser and for that you should feel excited.
