Connected breathing to connect to your highest self.
Notice how you're breathing in this moment.
See if you can notice your breath without trying to change it,
Without trying to fix it.
Watch yourself breathing as if you're watching a baby or a sweet animal breathing.
If it helps you can close your eyes as you witness your body breathing you.
Notice each part of each breath cycle.
You can start by watching the inhale,
Noticing where the air comes in through nose or mouth.
Notice the pause at the top.
Notice what it feels like to let go of that breath.
Notice the bottom of your breath,
Emptiness.
Keep watching,
Feeling,
Witnessing with compassion.
Notice the size of your breath,
The texture,
Temperature,
Speed.
Now bring one hand to rest on your heart,
One hand to rest on your low belly.
Notice the rise and the fall,
Rise,
Fall,
Rise,
Fall,
Ebb,
Flow.
Notice this cycle.
Notice the connection between each consecutive breath.
Now imagine yourself breathing in tune with,
With me,
With everyone else who's ever listened to this practice.
Imagine and feel yourself breathing in and out with every single person you've ever met.
Imagine yourself breathing in tune with all humans on the planet.
Now imagine yourself breathing in tune with all of the animals.
Just keep feeling yourself breathing in,
Breathing out.
Imagine yourself breathing in,
Breathing out.
Imagine yourself breathing in,
Breathing out.
Now imagine yourself breathing with nature,
Interwoven into the very fabric of life itself.
Breath in,
Let it go.
Now bring your lower hand to rest on top of your upper hand,
Both hands centered over your heart.
Breathe into this space.
See if you can feel your body expanding with each inhale,
And softening with each exhale.
Breathe love in to the front of your heart,
Breathe love out to the back of your heart.
Each breath flow into the next,
Connected with love.
With our last few breaths together,
See if you can allow yourself to feel joy.
Pure love in its concentrated form for yourself,
For all of life,
And for the forces that create life.
Now turn the corners of your lips up into a smile.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
Begin again.
This concludes our breath practice.
I love you.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
