Hi there,
This is a meditation to carry you into the now.
It should only take three minutes or so.
Come into a comfortable seat.
Feel the earth beneath you,
The sky above you.
Allow this moment for your body to relax back into support.
Be held here in this time,
In this space by the buoyancy of this breath.
I breathe in,
I breathe out.
That is all.
There's nothing to do,
There's nowhere to go for this next two and a half minutes.
Tune into the sounds that are all around you,
In the room you're in,
In the distance.
Allow each sound to rise and fall.
Allow the sounds to be as they are and then bring your awareness into your body and feel into this physical body that you're residing in at this moment.
Really experience it.
The head,
The torso,
The arms and the legs.
Acknowledge all that is in your present moment awareness.
Receive yourself.
Receive any thoughts,
Receive any feelings and open up to a spaciousness of allowing.
Allowing yourself to be exactly as you are.
Allowing whatever is arising to be as it is.
You might even say to yourself,
I receive myself as I am.
I allow myself to be as I am in this moment.
Bring your attention to the eyebrow centre point and take a deep smooth breath in here.
When you're ready allow your eyelids to flicker open.
Bring your palms into your heart.
