Thank you for being here with me today.
I will be guiding you through a grounding meditation,
Making you feel a deep connection with Mother Earth,
Within yourself,
With all that is.
So let's go ahead and come to a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes and begin to bring your awareness to your breath.
Just really tuning into how your breath feels.
Inhaling deeply,
Expanding your belly out.
Exhaling deeply,
Bringing your belly in towards your spine.
Just taking a moment to arrive to the present moment.
Feeling the contact of your body with the earth.
Feeling a sense of grounding.
So in order to be your most healthy,
Revitalized self,
It is essential to spend time connecting with nature.
I know it's not as easy right now due to the fast paced life that we live.
We're in a constant cycle of work and just getting things done.
But it is essential to always find time to connect with nature.
We are nature.
So it's like not connecting with yourself.
Keep focusing on your breath.
Just feel your presence.
Finding comfort in this undisturbed seat on the earth.
If your mind wanders,
Just bring your awareness right back to your breath.
Our breath is this very special tool that is always available to us.
It is constant.
It is always with us.
And it's so helpful throughout your meditations to always go back to your breath whenever your mind begins to bring in scattered thoughts and feelings.
We don't always need to react to these thoughts and feelings.
All we have to do is just witness.
Feeling stillness and connection with the earth as you sit in this comfortable seat.
Through the power of meditation,
You are able to project strong emotions and thoughts into the universe the same way that you are able to receive them.
So now with this information,
I will let you take a moment to send out a universal vibration of gratitude for Mother Earth.

Now imagine roots stemming out from the base of your spine and into the core center of the earth.
Reach as far down as you can imagine.
Spend a few breaths supporting this energy.
Feel the vibrations in your body.
You are more alive and connected than you even know.
Be reminded that this connection is always available to you.
Keep your focus on your breath and feel that deep connection of your roots stemming out of your spine and connecting with the earth.
Now let's direct this energy to our heart center.
So bring both of your hands and place them over your heart.
Sending your breath to your heart.
Now repeat to yourself these grounding affirmations.
I am grounded.
My spirit is grounded deep in the earth.
I am calm.
I am strong.
I am centered.
I am able to let go of any fear.
I trust that I am eternally safe.
I am worthy of all things beautiful.
I have inner peace.
Be reminded that profound change is waiting just beneath your feet.
Remain connected to your breath for the remaining of this meditation.
Be reminded that the earth is always there for you,
Loving and supporting us.
Although we may never call,
She waits daily for her children to acknowledge her presence.
Mother Earth is a source of life,
Not a resource.
We must do our part to take care of this planet and never stop inspiring those around us to do the same.
Keep feeling your breath.
As you inhale and as you exhale for just a few more cycles.
Now begin to come back to your present self.
Feel with your senses.
Move your hands and feet.
Lengthen your breath.
May you carry your meditation with you throughout your day.
You always keep a warm and open heart.
You always feel rooted and grounded and connected.
