Welcome.

Today's practice is all about finding the feeling of enoughness.

Many people walk around with a sense of lack and insufficiency.

So today we will be inviting in feelings of enoughness through appreciation,

Acceptance,

Abundance,

And allowing.

For some of you these feelings might come easily.

Others may be able to glimpse them briefly.

And for some this practice might be more challenging.

Wherever you are in this process,

This is all about practicing and continuing to practice,

Raising your internal gaze until a feeling of enoughness becomes more and more familiar.

So first,

Make sure you're as comfortable as possible and give your body permission to settle into the surface beneath you.

See if you can really allow your body to take in the support of the cushion beneath you.

And notice all the places you're being held and supported.

If your mind is active with thoughts,

Imagine you could open up a window and air those thoughts right out like you're airing out a room.

Imagine all your thoughts releasing and then return to reality.

The surface beneath you,

Your body breathing,

The air on your skin.

See if you can relax your forehead and all the muscles around your eyes.

Imagine all the muscles in your neck and shoulders softening and melting.

See if you can give your entire body permission to relax and melt into the surface that is holding you up.

Now let's begin by inviting in the feeling of appreciation.

I'd like you to call to mind some of what you appreciate and feel grateful for in your life.

This could be people you appreciate,

Animals,

Your favorite places,

Your favorite pastimes,

Things you find comforting,

Anything that comes to mind that you truly appreciate.

And you can think of one or more.

And as you think of one or more of the things you appreciate in your life,

Notice where in your body you feel that appreciation.

And see if you can turn up that feeling like you would turn up a radio dial.

Let it get even bigger.

Imagine turning up that dial of appreciation even more.

Now let's move into a feeling of acceptance.

A feeling of yes,

I accept what is right now.

See what it would feel like inside if you let go of any resistance and moved into acceptance.

I accept what is.

I accept reality.

You can even try saying to yourself,

I accept what is.

I'm open to change and I accept what is.

I'm open to change and I accept what is.

Now let's try shifting into the feeling of self-acceptance.

How would it feel inside if you accepted yourself?

You were open to growth,

But you accepted yourself right now.

How would you feel inside if you let go of needing to get or get rid of anything in order to be okay?

You remained open to growth,

But right now how would it feel if you decided and felt that you are enough as is?

See if you can find that feeling of self-acceptance right now.

You can even try saying,

I'm open to growth and I accept myself right now.

I'm open to growth and I accept myself right now.

And finally,

How would you feel inside if you could allow life to unfold and you didn't have to try quite so hard?

Imagine how you would feel if you could let go a little bit more.

See if you can capture the feeling inside of letting life unfold,

Opening your palms a little more and allowing life to unfold.

You can try saying,

I take action when inspired and I let go of the rest.

I take action when inspired and I let go of the rest.

Good.

And now return your attention to your breathing.

And become aware again of the surface beneath you.

And any sounds you hear.

If you'd like,

You can give your body a little stretch.

And if you were able to capture one or more of these feeling states,

That's great.

And if you weren't,

I hope you will continue to try them on.

Thank you so much for joining me today.
