Sitting comfortably now,
Feet on the floor,
Hands on your lap,
Taking a gentle,
Slightly deeper breath in and out and closing down your eyes,
Allowing your eyes to gently close.
Enjoying the contrast between eyes open and eyes closed.
We spend so much time on screens these days,
Perhaps it's nice now to send a little gratitude to your eyes.
What a relief it is,
Noticing the difference between eyes open and eyes closed.
It's as if the eyes have found a deep level of peace,
Tranquility,
Ease.
I wonder,
Is it possible to take that feeling of peace and tranquility that has been found in the eyes and feel it throughout your body?
What would your body feel like if it was totally at peace?
Use the breath to help your body find a level of peace,
Of stillness,
Of tranquility.
Follow the breath in and out and generate a gentle,
Loving,
Peaceful energy within you.
No need to try,
Just allow,
That's right,
And you can bring a level of this peaceful energy back for the rest of the day,
As you have a gentle stretch,
A slightly deeper breath in and out,
And open your eyes,
Returning to the day.
