Good morning.

Before the day pulls you in all directions,

Come back to yourself.

Let your breath land softly in your stomach.

Feel the gentle rise and fall,

The natural rhythm of being alive.

Slowly and gently close your eyes.

Let your body know it's safe to rest here,

Even whilst awake.

Let your mind know there's no rush.

You are exactly where you need to be.

Take a deep breath in through the nose.

Hold for a moment and exhale through the mouth,

Letting go of any tension left from sleep.

Let your shoulders drop.

Unclench the jaw.

Soften the muscles around your eyes.

Notice the ground beneath you,

The steadiness below your body or the surface you're resting on.

That solid connection reminding you that you belong here.

Now feel the spine lengthen slightly,

As if each little bone in the spine gently aligns,

Bringing you straight,

Balanced,

Awake.

With your next inhale,

Imagine bringing your energy home.

Gathering what has scattered during the night,

Pulling it all back into your centre.

Exhale and feel that energy settle deep in your core,

Right behind the belly button.

Calm,

Focused,

Steady.

You don't need to know every step of the day ahead.

You only need to begin from alignment.

Repeat silently.

I return to my centre.

My energy belongs to me.

I return to my centre.

My energy belongs to me.

Let these words become a quiet rhythm with your breath.

Inhaling,

Returning to centre.

Exhaling,

Claim your energy.

Inhaling,

Returning to centre.

Exhaling,

Claiming your energy.

If thoughts arise,

Simply notice them.

No judgement.

Just a to come back home.

Come back to the breath.

Come back to your body.

Come back to this moment.

Now imagine a warm light glowing softly in your stomach.

With every inhalation,

That light grows brighter.

With each exhalation,

It expands outwards,

Through your chest,

Your arms,

Your face.

The light fills your whole body.

Grounded,

Clear,

Calm.

You are centred within it.

Steady,

No matter what comes today.

The world will try to scatter your focus,

To pull you outward again and again.

But you can always come back.

Back to your breath.

Back to your truth.

Now breathing gently,

And noticing how stillness feels.

How presence feels.

How belonging feels.

Let the sounds around you blend into the background.

Let the light in the room meet your awareness softly.

You're here,

Awake,

Steady,

Whole.

Repeat again,

Silently.

I return to my centre.

My energy belongs to me.

I begin my day from calm.

Feel the sense of spaciousness in the mind,

Like a clear sky at dawn.

No need to fill it,

Just breathe beneath it.

Stay here for a few more moments,

Resting in quiet readiness.

Calm,

But alert.

Grounded,

Yet open.

And when you're ready to begin your day,

Let a small smile start to form.

A quiet knowing that you can always return to this place within you.

Begin your day from here.

From stillness.

From truth.

From centre.

And as always,

Be gentle with yourself.

As you open your eyes,

Having a gentle stretch,
