I invite you to find comfort in your space,
Wherever you find yourself.
Tuning into your body and exploring,
Could you be even 5% more comfortable,
Perhaps with a pillow or a shift in position.
Allowing yourself to have some support at your back body.
Noticing to bring awareness to the physical body by scanning head to toe and noticing where are there areas of tension or freedom,
Constriction or ease,
Bringing gentle awareness to whatever is present in the physical body by noticing and naming,
Perhaps bringing a breath into any areas that would like it and noticing what happens as you bring your awareness to each spot in your body and then expanding awareness into the emotional body and noticing and naming whatever emotions are present today in this moment,
Refraining from analyzing or judging or going into story about them,
Simply naming them,
Here is sadness or here is anger,
Getting as specific as you are able with all of the nuances and flavors of the emotions that are present and you might notice as well if an area of your body corresponds to an emotion and if you do,
Bringing your gentle awareness and breath if that feels good to you into that area and then expanding your awareness into the mental body and noticing the nature of the thinking mind in this moment,
Does it seem to be oriented in the past,
The future,
The present,
Is it ruminating or perseverating,
Planning,
Obsessing,
Is it still,
Is it circular,
Noticing and naming,
Again refraining from judging or analyzing and with this too I invite you to notice if there are any correspondences between the thought or the emotion or spot in your body and again just witnessing,
Noticing if this is the case,
Bringing awareness and breath,
Knowing that there is nothing bad or wrong with whatever is present,
We are simply witnessing and then bringing your awareness down and in to the seat of your soul wherever you find that connection,
Perhaps it's within the heart center,
Perhaps it's within the core or the womb area,
Dropping into this connection with the still small part of you,
Part that is your highest self and connected with the universe's highest wisdom,
Tuning in and listening,
What does it want you to know in this moment,
What would your inner wisdom have you know right now,
Allowing it to be simple or profound,
All is welcome and as you feel complete,
Beginning to broaden your awareness back out into the body,
Into the space around you,
Beginning to sense the air on your face,
Clothing or blankets that might surround you and on your own time bringing gentle movement back into the fingers,
Toes,
Perhaps shifting the neck or shoulders and as you are ready,
Opening your eyes,
Beginning to reorient to the space in which you find yourself,
Returning to your day.
