This is a highly useful meditation that you can do as often as you like, to cultivate more mindfulness in your life, at work, at home, or, wherever you are. Feel the immediate calming effects and use the skill of this intentional, concentrated focus, to calm the mind anytime you wish.

Stop,

Stop and pause.

Right now.

Whatever you are facing,

Whatever situation you are in,

You can always stop.

Right now.

Take a few calming conscious breaths.

Being aware of breathing in,

Being aware of breathing out.

Nothing to do.

Just being aware of the breathing in and the breathing out.

Observe the sensations in your body.

What's going on there?

Allow whatever is there and smile throughout your body with kindness,

With the intention of kindness,

Wishing yourself the best.

Proceed the rest of your day with awareness and kindness.
