So taking a moment to get comfortable,
Finding your seating position and begin to lengthen up through the spine,
Finding a sense of alertness,
Balanced with a sense of ease.
As you also relax your shoulders,
Relax your belly and feeling grounded into the sit bones.
Letting your awareness drift into your breath,
Breathing space into your body,
Breathing space into your mind.
And as we tune into the breath becoming aware of how you feel,
What is currently with you in this moment.
And sometimes in our day to day lives it can feel like we are being pulled in so many different directions.
Sometimes,
Especially if we are hurt or struggling with a difficulty,
Our mind can be going in circles,
Stuck in a story,
Stuck in a situation in the past or in the future.
So becoming aware of whatever is sitting with you right now without any labels of judgement or criticism.
This is your experience right now.
We are going to begin to bring in some space.
We are going to begin to find a sense of freedom and openness.
And to do this first we'll bring our awareness into the heart.
Let it drop to the centre of the heart.
Imagining your heart space has its heart,
Focusing on your heart of your heart.
Feeling the simple expansion around the heart space on the inhale and the softening on the exhale.
Be with it,
Resting here.
From this heart space breath,
I want you to imagine now on the inhale you are going to draw energy from the universe coming from the front of you into the heart space.
On the exhale imagine a bubble of energy coming out from the heart space to encapsulate your whole body.
So an inhale to draw from in front of you into the heart space.
On the exhale let this energy bubble out from the heart to come to sit around your whole body.
And so breath with breath we keep on building this bubble of protection.
Plumping up our auric field.
Whatever feels right for you,
Maybe it's a natural gentle breath.
Maybe today what you need is a deeper breath.
So you feel into that and make it your own.
Becoming aware of if your auric field,
Your protective bubble has any colour,
Any texture,
Any areas that feels a little bit weak or weathered.
Becoming aware of the whole experience.
Honouring the individual nature of this practice.
When we tune to subtle energy there is no right or wrong.
Really nice.
And then just let yourself rest in the auric field you've created.
Resting in this bubble of protective energy you've created.
Knowing that you are on the inside and that all the sounds and noises in the external world are on the outside of this bubble.
Feeling a sense of having space around all the situations in your life now.
Feeling a sense of being held and supported.
And from this space of containment I want you to now bring back that one thing that is causing you the most hurt,
Pain,
Stress.
That one thing.
Now we're in a space of calm and clarity.
We can bring that one thing back.
There may be many but let's just work with one thing at a time.
You can always repeat this meditation.
And noticing where in your body you can feel a sensation when you bring to mind your situation.
It can be anywhere in the body.
It does not need to have any logical connection to it.
And then really noticing is there one area in the body or is there a few areas that are connected to the situation.
Feeling,
Emotion,
This energy.
And then with whatever instrument feels right for you.
It might be a pair of scissors.
It might be a sword.
It could be an axe.
It could be your bare hands.
Whatever instrument,
Whatever weapon,
Whatever feels right for you.
We're going to use that now to take away the cords of this energy.
So from those areas in the body where you feel sensation there will be an energetic cord.
And you might already sense them or feel them or see them.
But if not just using your imagination that there is a cord pulling your energy away from you.
And taking whatever method now to remove these cords one by one.
Pulling them away,
Chopping them away,
Burning them away.
And then with all the cords in your hands,
All the loose ends of the cords in your hands.
We're going to forcefully throw them out,
Push them outside your auric field bubble.
And just feel them dropping away as soon as you push them out the auric bubble.
They're gone,
They're dissolved,
They vaporize.
They fall into the abyss and disappear.
And after that process is done,
Just again come back to that heart breath.
Drawing the energy from forwards in.
And the exhale,
Plumping,
Strengthening your auric field.
Stay here as long as you like.
