Recently, my parents left the house for a weekend trip and I was able to finally realize how relaxing it is for an empath like me to be in a space by herself. All of the negative energy in my house dissipated with their departure and I finally sighed with relief. I had no idea I had been taking in such negative energy. It was so surprising to me.

Hello everyone!

I hope that you're doing amazing wherever you are in the world.

My name is Boomshakal and in this video I wanted to speak to you about being an empath and how you don't actually even realize as an empath how much energy,

How much negativity,

How much stuff from the atmosphere from around you you're actually picking up.

It's actually surprising to me even now even though I've known I've been an empath for a decade or so now I've known that I'm an empath I still am confused and surprised by how much energy I actually take in,

How much negative energy I actually take in and how it affects me.

What I really want you guys to do,

What I want you people to do is to do this experiment.

I actually ran an experiment recently where as you might know I've been living or staying with my parents for the last five months.

It's been five months already.

I came here because obviously because of the coronavirus.

I wanted to be next to my parents just in case if something happened to them and I couldn't travel back to see them I would have been devastated.

So I was like all right this is a crazy time let's go back to Toronto from Thailand.

So I packed everything up and then moved back to my parents place.

I've been living with them for five months now and considering it's been kind of a lockdown and then little by little we've been moving out of it but I've been careful not to go out anywhere.

I've literally been spending all of my time either in this backyard here which is really nice or going for little walks around the neighborhood or in the house in my room or somewhere else.

So literally it has been that I've been spending a lot of time in this house with my parents.

My parents are lovely people really nice great good kind people but they are also very negative and they have I think a lot of sadness and anger and resentment inside of them just because of a lot of things that they've gone through.

They fight a lot,

They talk a lot and they are negative a lot or they're anxious a lot and they feel all these emotions and in general I felt I thought wrongly I thought that I was doing really well and kind of putting like a barrier between me and their energy so making sure that I still stay upbeat and positive even though they're in that funk of madness and depression and sadness and all of that right so I've been trying to make sure that I stay on a high vibration even though they are constantly on a lower vibration.

That's okay and I'm there for them if they need me obviously but recently a couple of days ago they decided that they were gonna go away for a couple of days they wanted to finally you know it's kind of Toronto's opening up a bit so they're like let's we're gonna go with our friends and we're gonna rent a cottage or we're going to do something outside and we're not gonna come back for a couple of days and you know I was like all right cool you know I'm obviously not going with you guys I have work to do and so I stayed at home and the first night I mean I fell asleep it was the first night that I had a very extremely deep sleep and a long while in the last few months I haven't been sleeping as deep as I normally do and I woke up feeling so refreshed and then I was sitting in my meditation in the morning and I was wondering to myself why do I feel so relaxed my parents weren't there I was really quiet in the house you know it was like no like random noises of them doing this and that or talking to each other or yelling at each other or whatever it might be and so it was very calm and quiet in the house and I'm just sitting there thinking wow I feel really relaxed and it took me a little bit of time to engage or to realize that I had actually been taking up or taking in a lot of negative energy without even realizing it and all of that was obviously dampening not only my mood my energy my sleep I was affecting everything really without me realizing it because it was like a slow trickle you know how like it's kind of like drip,

Drip,

Drip,

Drip,

Drips and little by little kind of takes away your energy takes away your positivity it takes away your vibrational level or it takes it down and you don't realize it because it's happening at like a little drip like tick tick tick tick tick little by little kind of going down and you don't as I said you don't realize it you just keep on going and you assume everything is fine all of a sudden you take a little break and you realize whoa it's like when there's a really loud sound in the background and just like going on and on like maybe it's like a vibration of sorts or like a drilling and people are just drill drill drill drill and all of a sudden they stop and you're like wow it's so quiet that's exactly how I felt that was like wow oh my god I can't believe it and so I really wanted to do this video to to explain to you the importance of realizing that this empath thing that we speak about is not just nonsense it's not just like oh right yeah you're an empath whatever it's not just bogus it's actually extremely important because as an empath as a highly sensitive person as an individual who's taking in all these emotions negative positive whatever you're actually doing it on a daily moment by moment basis and is affecting you it is absolutely affecting you and so if you are spending by chance a lot of time around people who are negative who are sending out a lot of anxious negative low vibrations no low resonances at you all the time you are taking it in without even realizing it and so as I realized you know I'm sitting there one morning when they're not there and realizing wow it's like then the sound has suddenly stopped and I realized that this is what quiet feels like this is what relaxation feels like this is what it feels like when there's no negative energies buzzing around in the atmosphere taking me down pushing at me putting at me poking at me little by little little by little right now of course I'm lucky because you know this is just a temporary thing I'm with them for a little bit of time I'll be going back home soon to Thailand whenever the borders open up and it might be in a month might be two months who knows it doesn't really matter because there it's not like I am stuck in this position you know it's not like this is my future and I can never get out of here I'm lucky that way unfortunately a lot of you are not a lot of you are in situations where you are in paths but you're stuck with an individual you are living with them or perhaps you're a partner with them or it's your husband or wife or lover or you know a parent that you're living with that you can't get away from and you're in that situation you unfortunately cannot get away from it and so in that situation as I said when the water is constantly dripping at you drip drip drip drip drip you don't actually notice that it's affecting you you're like well no I'm completely fine everything is dandy and then the water stops dripping at you you're like oh my god I can't believe it I did not realize it I was actually really affecting me a lot and so obviously there's a lot of self-care stuff that I'm constantly doing to make sure that I stay at the top of my vibrational level so I'm constantly doing meditation yoga and constantly taking care of myself in a million different ways of course I would do this with or without them being around me but for you who are not able to escape from the situation it's even more important for you to be constantly taking care of yourself constantly making sure that your self-care routine is up on up to par and you're constantly making sure that you are able to keep your vibrational level high and sometimes even able to take a break from that individual because they are affecting you and you're not going to know it until you walk away from them for a bit and get rid of that noise that white noise that's always in the background as soon as you walk away from it that's when you realize wow I feel so relaxed all of a sudden I feel so like a sigh of relief that ran through my body it feels like I feel loosey-goosey I feel like my muscles have suddenly relaxed and all the tension has just left my body that's how I felt you know after they left for a couple of days um not to say anything terrible about them they're good people but they just are a negative bunch of anxiety filled people you know that's just the way they are that's how they've been brought up they don't know any different they don't know how to live differently right and a lot of people are like that on this planet unfortunately as an empath it's the onus or the responsibility of taking care of our vibration or our resonance or our internal environment it lies with us it's not their responsibility they're not gonna change if you think that they're gonna change I don't know how long you're gonna have to wait for it I've been waiting for my parents to change for 40 years and they haven't and so that's the waste of your time the thing that you need to do the responsibility that you have is to make sure that you take care of yourself especially if it's a situation that you can't escape if you have to be around this person if there's no way you can get away from them for their from their negative resonances from their negative vibrations then either you cry about it for the rest of your life or you start taking care of yourself and really you need to start taking care of yourself right away ASAP if you're an empath it's already affecting you in a terrible manner and if you don't do something about it it's gonna affect you so much so that you're gonna become exactly like this other person you're gonna become extremely negative extremely bitter and resentful and you're gonna have all these negative energies around you and inside of you and you're not gonna understand why it's like you know you wake up in the morning you're like I don't know why but I feel crappy today well it's because of the negative resonances negative stuff that's going on in the atmosphere and pick up on everything we do we really do and it's like it's interesting because as I said even though I knew and I know that I'm an empath I still didn't realize it but I was picking it up I still had no clue and I'm thinking to myself I was sitting there thinking what how could that how could I not feel it how could I not realize it well when you're in the situation it's very easy to ignore it it's very easy to pretend like it's not happening so it's extremely important that we get back to our self-care routines make sure that we take care of ourselves and take breaks from the individuals because they are bringing you down you're not gonna know it until you walk away from the situation okay so I hope this makes sense I hope this helps if you are in a similar situation especially because of lockdown I think a lot of us have realized that we're in a very negative abusive environment even though it might not be physical abuse there is something called mental abuse come on people our emotional abuse and so it's just really take care of yourself if you have questions about this please comment below and Thank you for this. Like you, I kind of knew that I lived in this kind of situation... but COVID quarantine has intensified it all. I struggle with trying to remain part of my family while still caring for myself and trying to distance from lots of low energy. Thank you 🙏🏻

Gratitude. After almost 63 yrs on our planet I finally discovered what has made me “different”. It’s a gift! A blessing! But it can sure be hard to manage especially when you you just think that you are odd. Now that I know that it is a gift I can stop trying to change it. Thank you so much for the added information on how to care for my gift. 🙏
