Hi,
I'm Brian Lowell French,
Here to share a Mindful Minute with you.
This is a short mindfulness practice designed to do while you are working to create some calm and focus.
This caring,
Deeply mindful minute is done by thinking about someone you care for and wishing them well.
It may help to close your eyes or lower your gaze to lessen distraction.
Begin by picturing in your mind a person or pet who you care deeply about.
Place your full focus on them.
Consider the many ways that you show that you care for them.
Consider the many ways that they show that they care for you.
Consider how important they are in your life.
And consider the happy feelings that they create within you.
Now show the intent of your caring about them by sending them good wishes with your thoughts,
By repeating these phrases with them held in your mind.
May you be well.
May you be safe.
May you be happy.
May you feel cared for.
These intentions create feelings of kindness and happiness within us that we then naturally share with the other when we are next spending time with them.
You can do this simple mindfulness practice anytime and anywhere to create more focus,
More calm,
And more caring.
Be well.
