Find yourself in a seated,
Comfortable position,
And when you're ready,
Just close your eyes and start with three slow,
Deep breaths in through the nose and out through the nose.
Just notice where your feet meet the floor and breathe into your feet.
Imagine little roots coming out of your feet,
Down through the floor,
Through the foundation,
And into the earth beneath you.
I'm just feeling these roots unfurl,
Unfold,
Mingle with all the roots of the trees and the plants,
All the fungi and microbes that surround you,
And on the exhale,
Just letting any energy in the mind,
In the body that's ready to be released and recycled,
Just letting it drop down.
With every exhale,
We're letting go,
And on the inhale,
We're filling up with fresh energy from the earth,
Breathing that fresh oxygen in through your roots,
Up through your feet,
Into your bloodstream,
Bringing this fresh energy to every cell in your body.
On the inhale,
We're filling up,
And on the exhale,
We're letting go.
Now we want to call in all of our support,
Seen and unseen.
We want to call in any ancestors that support us,
Any loved ones,
Furry friends,
And our teachers and guides.
Just imagine this hammock of support,
This network of support,
And really letting your body rest in this hammock,
Just giving up any efforting,
Giving it up and over to the chair,
Whatever you're sitting on,
And letting yourself be held.
As we anchor even more fully into this network of support,
We ask for guidance so that we may stand even more fully,
Courageously,
Lovingly,
Abundantly in our authentic selves and in our souls,
Here on this planet,
At this time,
In service for the highest good of all concerned.
I'm going to send a little gratitude down through those roots,
To the earth,
To this network of support,
To yourself for showing up for this moment.
I'm taking another few full body breaths.
One more,
And then slowly,
Slowly bringing your eyes back open,
Maybe stretching a little bit.
I'm going about the rest of your day.
Thank you.
