Welcome to your aliveness meditation.
So I want to invite you to have a journal or notebook nearby so you can take a few notes at the end.
And then just want to invite you to get cozy and comfy in your seat,
Just come into stillness and close your eyes.
And we start with just three slow deep breaths in and out through the nose.
Just feeling those roots connecting you to the earth through your feet,
Breathing into your roots.
Just noticing any sensations in your body.
Just like a scientist observing,
No need to follow them.
Just noticing what's here.
I'm just letting it be exactly as it is.
And I want to invite you to remember a moment,
A moment in your life when you felt deeply and profoundly alive,
A moment when it felt like some internal gong had been struck and you were vibrating with this aliveness.
And it can be anything from riding your bike as a kid,
To a moment in nature,
To a moment standing on a stage,
A moment with a loved one,
Absolutely any moment that arises in your memory of aliveness,
Just welcome it.
And so whatever moment of aliveness has come up,
Just let it be perfect,
Exactly as it is.
Whatever this memory is,
I want you to see if you can remember as many details as possible.
What are you seeing?
What are you tasting?
Smelling,
Feeling,
Just let your senses come alive in this memory.
How does the air feel on your skin?
And as you breathe into this moment of aliveness,
I just want you to notice what quality is most present.
How would you describe the energy of this moment?
How did it feel to be in it?
So one word is alive.
Whatever your quality is,
Peace,
Trust,
Presence,
Whatever your quality is,
I want you to take a deep breath into your body,
Welcoming this quality.
Welcoming peace,
Welcoming presence,
And just breathe into your quality of aliveness.
Invite it to come fully into this moment,
And then I want you to notice where in your body does this energy live?
Where in your body is subtly or not so subtly drawing your awareness?
Your heart,
Your throat,
Your feet,
Your hands,
Just notice where in your body does this energy of aliveness live?
And wherever you feel it,
I want you to focus all of your attention in that spot and breathe into it.
Letting the memory go,
Just staying with the energy in your body.
We're going to ask it a question.
Without thinking we just see what arises and breathe into this place in your body where this energy lives.
How does this energy of aliveness want to play through you and your gifts?
How does this energy of aliveness want to play through me and my gifts?
Just breathe into your body,
To that place in your body.
Maybe pick up your pen and write down any of the ways this energy wants to express through you as you on this planet right now.
Let it be small and subtle or big and grand.
Let this energy show you in images,
Words,
Colors,
Symbols,
And whatever you receive.
Even if it's silence,
We want to live the question and live into the answer.
So sending some gratitude to this place in your body,
To this energy of aliveness,
To yourself for showing up and asking the questions.
And then we'll ask one more question.
Breathing into the space and place in your body and asking this energy,
What wisdom do you have for me on my path right now?
What wisdom does this energy have for you right now on your path and just breathe into this place in your body and whatever is here,
Just picking up your pen and writing down any wisdom you receive and taking all the time you want to journal or continue to write or explore what came up for you in this meditation.
But for now,
Just sending some gratitude to yourself and to this aliveness.
