Bristol Baughan is a TED Fellow, Leadership Coach, Author, and Executive Producer of Emmy-winning and Oscar-Nominated films. She serves on the Board of the Guild of Future Architects and founded Inner Astronauts to help facilitate a cultural shift from extractive toward more regenerative ways of being. She is on faculty at the Esalen Institute and has delivered transformational talks and workshops at TED, TEDx, HATCH Europe, and the Sundance Film Festival. Bristol co-wrote her first novel, Sophia’s Journey, with her father Dr. David Baughan when she was in her early 20s. Her writing has been featured in Save Wright Magazine, Huffington Post, “This Emotional Life” via PBS, Poppy & Seed Magazine, and The Guild of Future Architects. Her first non-fiction book was The Inner Astronaut’s Guide to Harnessing Heartbreak and she is currently writing her first memoir, Aliveness: The Emergency Side Hatch. Bristol holds a B.A. in International Studies from the American University School of International Service and an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She most recently loved the “We Will Dance with Mountains” course/festival with Dr. Bayo Akomolafe and Laura Storm’s “Regenerative Leadership Journey”. Bristol is currently studying World Religions Through Scriptures at Harvard University (online) while co-living in a 16th century Franciscan monastery in the Azores, Portugal.
