Welcome to the liver realm.
We're going to dive into our practices focused to nourish the liver.
These exercises we will start standing up.
Let's begin with the legs hip width apart.
Just take a few breaths feeling into your body in this standing position.
Feeling the breath coming in and out and the contact of your feet with the ground.
Start rubbing the palms of the hands together,
Creating heat and bring the hands to the lower right ribs.
Imagine,
Visualize,
Sense your liver.
This big organ that kind of parachutes over the stomach.
Underneath this umbrella like liver is also the gallbladder.
Connect with these organs and their qualities of cleaning the blood and allowing a proper smooth flow of blood and emotions to run through the body.
Sending from your hands,
Emerald green energy to these organs.
Take a deep breath in,
Exhale,
Relax the hands to your sides and start to swing your body from left to right.
Allowing both arms to be completely relaxed and to swing with your body left and right.
Both arms can touch your body as they swing.
Keep this rocking movement as if you were wagging a big tail,
Changing the weight from one foot to the other.
Bring attention to your breath as you twist from side to side and let's keep going for around two more minutes.
Gently start slowing down the movement little by little until you come back to stillness.
When you come to stillness,
Just observe how you feel.
Taking a few more deep breaths here,
Observing the sensations in our body.
One more deep inhale and exhale,
Sigh it out and open your eyes.
The second part of this exercise is going to be a visualizing meditation.
So let's take a comfortable seat,
Either on the floor or on the chair.
Allow your body to completely relax down.
Taking five full deep breaths.
Every inhale fills your body with energy and every exhale just soothes your mind and the weight of your body down to the earth.
Now,
Imagine,
Visualize,
Feel yourself walking into a beautiful dense forest.
Observe the big trees of the forest,
Feel the earth beneath your feet and smell the humid forest floor as you gently walk in this incredibly green landscape.
Find a soft spot in the middle of this forest to lie down.
Observe yourself gently lying down in this humid forest floor and observe the leaves of the trees dancing above you,
Feeling a gentle breeze that cools you and observing the trees and their trunk as they swing from side to side.
Allow your attention,
Your imagination to absorb as much detail from the tree trunks and from the different shades of green from the leaves and the trees.
Taking long,
Deep breaths,
Allowing the green sunlight passing through the treetops to warm and relax your body even deeper into this forest floor.
Feeling completely relaxed,
At ease and flowing with the breath and life.
We're going to take five more deep breaths,
Allowing this green energy to come into your body with every inhale and to release whatever needs to be released with every exhale.
We're doing three more long,
Deep breaths,
Inhaling,
Bringing in this green energy light into your body and as you exhale,
Allowing it to release whatever needs to be released.
Take one more deep inhale,
Exhale,
Sigh it out and gently sit up in the middle of this magical forest,
Giving gratitude to the trees and the green light.
Start walking all the way back into the room that you're sitting in.
Feel your body in this moment,
In your seat,
Filled with the magic of this forest.
And gently rub the palms of the hands together.
And bring the hands to the lower right ribs.
Smile one more time to your liver and your gallbladder,
Giving them gratitude for all the beautiful work they do.
Visualize them,
Imagine them,
Feel them,
Radiating with this beautiful emerald green light.
Take one more deep breath in,
Exhale,
Let go of your hands,
Drop them to your knees or your thighs and slowly blink your eyes open.
