This trauma-informed yoga practice explores cultivating gratitude and appreciation. This class is not about pushing anything away or ignoring heavy or difficult moments, but about exploring how we can hold light and dark, honoring that both can be true at the same time. We’ll begin by gently grounding and exploring gratitude through presence, then move into supportive poses like child’s pose, cat/cow, supine butterfly, and supine twist to cultivate connection and appreciation for yourself and the moment you're in. This class is supportive for all experience levels; there are no standing postures, and no props are required. Please note that while this practice is trauma-informed, it is not a replacement for professional mental health care.
