Welcome to this guided meditation.
Today we're going to focus on getting grounded and really rooting our energy.
Throughout our day to day lives,
We find ourselves floating and sometimes spending too much time in our heads,
Overthinking,
Projecting back.
Projecting forward or spending time worrying about what might happen next.
And there's a perfect remedy for this and that's to spend some time grounding both our breath,
Our mind and our body.
So take in a moment now to get comfortable.
Making sure you're as comfortable as possible.
Perhaps that's sitting or lying down.
And when you're ready,
You can close your eyes.
Taking a deep breath in here and letting that go.
And feeling your body just beginning to relax.
Sinking into the surface beneath you.
Beginning to melt.
Allowing your thoughts to slow down.
As you watch your breath.
This allows everything to slow down.
Your breath begins to slow.
Your mind begins to slow.
And you begin to relax.
Spending a moment now.
Connecting to your root.
The base of your spine.
Watching now as beautiful roots start to grow right there from the base of your spine.
Watch all of these little roots and the big ones making their way down through the surface below you.
Watch as these roots pass through the foundations of your home or wherever you may be right now.
And watching these roots filter through the earth.
Through the rocks.
Through the water table.
Into the core of this beautiful mother earth.
Keep watching these roots,
Even the tiny little tentacles.
The little roots as they filter their way all the way through to the core of the earth.
These small roots go wide.
Bringing in energy from throughout the earth.
And the bigger chunkier roots go deep to penetrate the core of the earth.
Connecting you,
Anchoring you into this place of relaxation and calm.
And just breathing here.
Feeling this beautiful energy coming up from the earth through these roots.
All the way back into the base of your spine.
And then flowing throughout your body.
Into your legs.
Your feet.
Into your belly.
Your heart space.
Your throat and your head.
And watching this energy go down your arms into the very tips of your fingers.
Filling you up with this beautiful warm rooted energy.
Just relaxing and watching as you fill up.
Like a battery on charge.
Filling up your energy.
Beautiful exchange with mother earth.
And breathe.
Keep breathing.
Keep recharging.
Keep grounding.
Now let's take our focus back to the centre of the earth.
Watching as the tiny little roots begin to come back in to your root chakra.
Watching the big tap root making its way back up to your body,
To your root chakra.
See these roots making their way back up through the rocks,
The water table,
The earth.
Through the foundations and back into your root chakra.
Disconnecting but knowing that you can tap into this sense of grounding whenever you choose.
Feeling fully supported by mother earth.
Recharged.
Reinvigorated.
Let's take a deep breath here.
Feeling up this beautiful oxygen.
And letting that go.
You may want to wiggle your fingers or stretch or yawn.
And whenever you're ready you can open your eyes.
