The journey is perfect if you would like to re-connect to your authentic voice if you are searching for clarity or have a decision to make. If you would like you can have a notebook and pen close to hand to journal your reflections.

Hello and welcome to this guidance or journey visualization where you're going to connect to your authentic self.

This practice is perfect if you're trying to find out more about yourself,

You're trying to find your true essence,

You have some decisions that you would like to make or you're trying to gain some clarity.

At our core we have our core values and our true authentic self.

The reason why we disconnect from this is because we are influenced,

So people around us,

The messages we receive,

Our parents,

All sorts of things influence us and we end up being conditioned to think a certain way or to act a certain way and then we get a little bit lost and we lose a sense of ourselves and our true authenticity.

So let's dive into this journey.

It would be great if you have a notebook for when we come out of this visualization.

So if you want to pause now and go and get that,

Do so.

And making sure you're comfortable here,

You're relaxed,

You're in a place that you can be at peace for a few minutes,

Getting comfy,

You can lie down if you want to or just sit.

When you're ready I'd like you to close your eyes and if you don't feel comfortable closing your eyes,

That's okay,

You can just hold a soft gaze.

And let's connect to our breath.

Taking a deep breath here and letting that go.

Want to really watch your breath.

Watch that breath move around your body from the moment it comes into your body to the moment that it leaves your body.

Watch its journey.

Where does it land for you first?

Is it in your nose,

Your throat,

Your chest?

Just watch that breath.

I'd like you to give your breath a colour.

So whatever colour feels right to you,

You can give that breath a colour and watch now as that colour moves around your body.

Starting to feel more relaxed,

At ease.

You'll notice your thoughts have started to slow down.

And now we're in this place of relaxation,

A safe place to explore.

I want you now to go back,

Back to your child self.

It doesn't matter what age,

Just go to wherever you are taken,

To a happy time in your childhood where you feel a sense of joy,

A sense of connection and a sense of belonging.

Going back to that place.

When you've connected to this,

I want you to embody that child self.

Feel what you feel in this moment.

Are you with somebody else?

Are you alone?

Where are you?

What's the temperature,

Can you feel it on your skin?

What do you know to be true?

Why do you feel this sense of deep joy?

Are you taking part in an activity?

Just taking a moment just to soak this up.

Any words that come to you or feelings,

Just take a note of those.

Now we're here,

I'd like you to connect to your child-like self and ask if there were no restrictions,

If everything was possible,

What do I want to do with my life?

How does life look to me?

What is life?

What do I want my future to hold?

Now we're going to move forwards to age 20,

Early 20s.

Now embodying yourself at this age.

What are you doing?

Where are you?

What's around you?

What's important to you?

How do you feel?

And what's been important to you?

How do you create joy and what lights you up?

Feeling into all of this now.

As we move forwards to your 40s,

Middle age,

Where are you now?

What do you feel?

What do you know to be true?

What's important to you?

What's been important to you?

What has brought you joy?

And from this place,

How do you feel you would like the second half of your life to be?

And again,

Moving forwards to retirement age,

In our 60s,

Where are you now?

What do you know to be true?

What's important to you?

What are you so glad that you did in the past?

What are you looking forward to in the future?

And again,

Moving forward for the final time,

Towards the end of your life.

Connecting to a sense of that time.

Having done everything that you wanted,

With no restrictions.

What are you so glad that you did?

What is important to you?

What has been important to you?

What has lit you up?

Where did you find joy?

Beautiful.

So I want you now to let that visual go.

Release in that.

And focusing now on your heart space.

Right at the centre of your chest.

Allowing your heart space to glow,

Like a ball of light.

This is the connection to your soul.

Your soul space.

And if you would like,

You can place your hand on your heart space.

Allowing this deep connection to your soul,

Through this beautiful ball of light.

And asking our soul some questions here.

What do I truly desire?

What feels true to me?

And what steps can I take next,

To guide me towards my truth?

And sending gratitude to your soul space,

Your heart space.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

And releasing your hand if you have it there.

Taking a deep breath here.

Coming back into your body.

And the temperature of the room,

And any noises that you can hear in the distance.

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

You did so good.

How do you feel?

If you have a notebook and pen,

Now would be the perfect time to write down any words,

Feelings or messages that you received during this practice.

Nothing is insignificant.

Everything is important.

What were your next steps?

It could be something very small,

Or it could be a huge leap of faith.

What did you find out about yourself?

What's important to you?

Will this change how you're living your life currently?

Have a beautiful rest of your day,
