So this meditation is for when the wave has passed.
So it's about coming back to a soft landing after strong emotion,
Nervous system activation,
Or just anything that's going on that throws you off.
It's about rebuilding your inner safety,
Restoring your parasympathetic tone,
And then grounding without reactivity.
Because in honesty,
Meditation's not about perfection or silence.
It's also real life.
So if you're here and something has moved or shifted,
Whatever emotion,
Stress,
Or whatever brought you here,
This is now about landing.
So we're going to begin with breath.
Inhale gently through the nose.
Exhale softly through the mouth.
Nothing forced.
Just enough.
Let your body feel the floor,
Your seat,
Your feet,
Any of your contact points.
You don't need to hold yourself up right now.
Let the ground help you.
If your heart feels fast,
Just notice.
If your chest feels tight,
Just notice.
There is nothing to fix.
Only sensations to meet like a hand resting on your shoulder.
Say silently to yourself,
I'm okay now.
The wave has passed.
It is time to soften.
Wiggle your fingers or your shoulder.
Place a hand on your heart if that's grounding.
You are back.
You stayed.
And you are whole.
Remember,
Meditation is not about being perfect.
It's about meeting all of those moments and trying to find grace,
Kindness to yourself wherever you are.
I hope that helped.
