Collectively,
We'll experience the joys and challenges of our lives.
Lie down on your back so that your spine is in a straight line.
Imagine that your spine is a chain being pulled straight so that all of the links are aligned.
Let your feet fall to the sides or pull your knees up so they are bent with your feet planted firmly onto the ground.
Inhale and stretch your arms up to the sky and slowly bring them to your sides as you exhale.
Inhale and stretch up.
Exhale and open your heart.
Inhale slowly and exhale.
I invite you to listen to your internal whispers during this meditation.
Moving back to your breath,
Let's stretch your jaw.
Press the tip of your tongue onto the roof of your mouth directly behind your teeth without touching them.
Gently apply pressure with your tongue as you slowly open your mouth as wide as you can.
Then slowly shut it.
Move without feeling pain and repeat this three times.
Let's consider,
Is your best way to move forward done by looking forward?
Or do you need closure to move forward by looking back for a bit?
What would serve you?
Take a few moments to visualize what your whisper is saying to you.
In these quiet times,
More appears.
More is revealed to you.
In spite of the mistakes and missteps you may have taken,
You see how far you've come.
We all have storms.
However,
Each eye of the storm remains calm.
Even when darkness appears,
Swirling wind surrounds you.
Loud sounds penetrate within you and bright lights blind you.
You remain calm.
Power comes from the center of our storms.
What is your storm?
Maybe it's a tornado,
A snowstorm,
A thunderstorm,
Or a hurricane,
Maybe even a dust storm.
They all try to pull you from ease.
Drawing from your wisdom creates ease.
That wisdom is shaping your life without obliterating a single moment of it.
Allow your emotions to be here.
Stay for a moment and breathe into the caring and calming part of you that holds love.
Announce yourself love,
Worthiness,
Trust,
Honor,
And creativity.
Allow insight,
Compassion,
And kindness to appear.
As fierce storms try to continually pull at you,
You remain steady.
Whether our experiences are lengthy and ferocious,
Sluggish and permanent,
Tremendous and effective,
Or fierce and wholly unexpected,
Your eye is at the center where ease,
Joy,
And fulfillment remain.
Pause in the center of the eye and think about what you were grateful for.
Be mindful for the terrific and realistic knowing that you were on the other side of the storm.
Bring a smile to your face.
Smile the widest smile you can even do without feeling any pain.
Inhale deeply through your mouth and exhale while you let your smile go.
