Just take a moment to tune into your body,
Noticing how it feels,
Noticing how you look.
And then place your hands over your eyes with the intention to let the reiki healing flow.
And just repeat after me.
Just for today,
I let go of anger.
I allow my feelings and memories to flow out with each breath.
Just for today,
I let go of fear.
I let all fearful memories flow out with each breath.
Just for today,
I give thanks for my many blessings.
I allow myself to feel gratitude.
With gratitude,
I find forgiveness in my heart.
I allow myself to find forgiveness for those who have wronged me.
Just for today,
I ask for forgiveness from anyone I may have hurt.
Just for today,
I nurture myself and honor my feelings.
I remember a time when I was young and filled with joy.
I notice how that feels in my body.
I remember my goals,
I see myself achieving them and notice how that feels.
I make a commitment to do something today towards achieving one of those goals.
I make a commitment today to help others.
I remember a time when I accomplished something important that felt empowering and joyful.
And now place your hands in the gasp of position,
The prayer position.
