Tranquility meditation.

Finding a quiet place to sit where you will not be disturbed.

Settling in now in a comfortable position and bring awareness to your breath.

A gentle awareness of the breath flowing in and the breath flowing out.

Allowing the breath to find its own natural rhythm as you notice sensations of the breath moving into your body.

Taking a few minutes to be in the present with your breath.

I invite you now to go on a walk through a lovely ancient forest.

It is a beautiful,

Clear day and you begin your journey into the forest,

Sensing the earth beneath your feet and noticing the smell of the ancient forest.

The sounds,

Birds,

Rustling of leaves as they blow gently in the wind,

A stream running quietly through.

Your senses are truly alive and awake in this ancient forest.

Scenters look more vibrant.

The smells more intense.

You are more aware of the sounds of this forest.

And as you continue to walk,

Sounds of water become louder and you find yourself at the most amazing waterfall.

It is the most beautiful waterfall you have ever laid eyes upon.

And you notice something very different about this waterfall.

And you have a sense that it is healing.

The water is flowing very softly and gently and you go to stand safely underneath it and allow the temperate crystal clear water to gently wash over you.

This waterfall washes away all cares,

Worries,

Concerns,

And fear,

All things that you can let go of now.

This is the most amazing feeling.

Sitting here now,

Just letting it all be released,

Feeling completely tranquil.

And as you step out of the waterfall,

The sun is out brightly and you can actually feel the water gently lifting off of you and a soft,

Brilliant light surrounds you now with divine love.

Feeling uplifted,

You continue a short way until you come upon a lovely,

Mossy green field and decide to lay down on the velvet moss.

You are pleasantly surprised how comfortable and welcoming it is.

As you lay here,

You cuddle up and surrender to the earth,

Allowing her to cradle you,

To nurture you.

Feeling safely held by Mother Earth,

You feel yourself absorbing her strength,

Her connection to all,

And a sense of groundedness.

Now that you have been nurtured by Mother Earth,

You sit up to find your animal spirit guide waiting patiently for you.

Your animal guide invites you to continue on your way.

You begin to walk once again through the forest,

Continuing on your journey with your guide.

All your senses are now heightened and you feel so at peace.

You may choose to ask your animal guide any question you feel is important to guide you on your life's journey,

Allowing yourself to trust and open to receive the answer.

When you are ready,

Thank your guide and say goodbye.

Now feeling yourself totally rejuvenated,

Begin to leave the forest the way you came,

Passing the velvety moss field,

Passing the waterfall,

Grateful to it for its healing powers,

Noticing the forest in a different way,

Allowing the peace of the forest to surround you.

Walking further out of the forest now,

Passing the stream,

The waterfall is now in the distance.

Further and further out of the forest,

Feeling the earth solidly beneath your feet and thanking Mother Earth for its presence in your life.

Returning now to the place where you began your journey as you leave the forest now.

Slowly returning now to this room,

Bringing this sense of peace and tranquility with you as you are renewed and refreshed.

Slowly returning now to this room.
