Welcome to this meditation,
Choosing Love Over Fear.
Come and find yourself in a comfortable seated position.
You may also take this meditation lying down.
Just close the eyes down and bring your awareness into your breathing.
Just notice the next inhale that you take and then notice the next exhale.
Follow it by the next inhale and then the next exhale.
So we're not trying to change the breath at all.
We're not trying to make it slower or deeper or breathe anywhere in particular.
We are just observing that inhale and exhale as it happens naturally.
Try not to analyse it or make any judgement on the breath.
Just breathing is enough.
I recommend that you breathe through the nose,
In and out through the nostrils.
But if you're unable to do that at this time,
It's perfectly fine to breathe in and out through the mouth.
If the mind wanders,
Just take it back to the next inhale.
Today we're going to use the mantra of Choosing Love Over Fear.
Opening ourselves up to the possibility that we can approach our life by choosing love over fear.
We can choose to approach all situations that we find ourselves in with love rather than fear.
Choosing compassion over intolerance.
Choosing sympathy over hatred.
Choosing love over fear.
Just following the breath.
Observing your inhale and exhale.
Love is what we are born with and fear is what we learn.
We can bring ourselves back to that innocence that we had once as a child.
Approaching every circumstance that life throws at us with love over fear.
Bringing the acceptance of love back into our hearts.
Choosing positive over negative.
Compassion over intolerance.
Sympathy over hatred.
Choose love over fear.
Bring your awareness back to your next inhale and your next exhale.
In this next inhale we'll inhale love and we'll exhale fear.
Inhale love.
Exhale fear.
Inhale love.
Exhale fear.
Inhale love.
Exhale fear.
Inhale love.
Exhale fear.
Next time you find yourself in a situation or circumstance that may normally invoke fear in you,
Just bring yourself back to this mantra.
Inhale love.
Exhale fear.
Inhale love.
Exhale fear.

Notice your heart beating.
One last time inhaling love and exhaling fear.
