Welcome to the Seeds of Growth visualization,

A meditation for the waxing moon.

Before we go into the meditation just a reminder that this meditation is part of the course Moon Aligned Productivity Overcoming Overwhelm and Enhancing Focus.

Right onto the meditation.

So the first thing I invite you to do is find yourself a lovely place to be.

It really is up to you.

I'm not going to tell you you need to sit with your legs crossed or that you need to have a straight back or anything.

This is your meditation.

I want you to make it right for you.

So find yourself somewhere comfortable to sit,

Lie down,

Curl up in a ball.

I don't really mind what you do.

It's got to be right for you.

And once you've done that I invite you to close your eyes and go inside.

Go inside to that wonderful place that is always there within you.

I don't want you to ever see that meditation is about getting you somewhere that you are not already.

Have you noticed how when you close your eyes immediately you start to feel more relaxed and that's because it's not the process,

It's what's already inside you that you're connecting to.

So I invite you to take a few really wonderful deep breaths just experiencing that air going into your body and coming out of your body and connecting to that wonderful natural process of breathing.

Isn't it magical how our breath just works?

How we can just observe it but how it's happening all the time isn't it?

All the time that breath is happening.

We don't really need to do anything about that.

Bringing yourself now into the present moment perhaps for you it's helpful to experience where your body's resting against the furniture or the floor or whatever it is you're against.

Just feel yourself sinking into that a little bit.

Really feeling what is right now.

Hearing what is right now might be just my voice or it might be just that you can tune into some noises outside of you.

Outside there might be dogs barking or planes going past or whatever.

Just tune into those sounds that are present with you right now.

This is all about just bringing yourself right into the present moment.

And I want you to imagine now that there's a beautiful garden.

An already quite beautiful garden because there is beauty in that phase of rest that we talked about before.

That phase of rest that comes with a new moon.

But here now as the moon is waxing it's time to plant the seeds.

So I just want you to imagine that you've got those beautiful seeds in your hand and that each one of them is an aspiration or a goal or something that you want to move towards during this cycle of the moon and during the forthcoming cycles of the moon.

Notice those seeds in your hand and then one by one I want you to gently take them and with every ounce of care and attention I want you to take each one of those seeds and really lovingly carefully plant it in the ground.

Make sure you make a hole that's deep enough for that seed to nuzzle into and grow from.

Pat down the soil over the top.

Give it some water.

Do everything that you would do if you were planting a seed for a natural plant.

Really think about this phase of the moon where you're going to make those starts with things.

You're going to plant those seeds really carefully gently planting each one of those seeds.

And then I want you to just watch and imagine that time's been sped up a little bit and just start to notice those seeds beginning to sprout.

The early stages of your projects taking shape,

Coming to life.

This is an enlivening time of the month as the moon begins to wax and there's a rise in energy as things begin to come to life.

I want you to visualize those goals coming to life for you.

Think about what you're going to do,

How practically you're going to bring those to life,

How are you practically going to plant those seeds in the world.

See yourself becoming more and more energized as you go through this phase of the moon.

But as always,

Being kind and gentle with yourself,

Allowing yourself to rest when needed and tuning into your body.

See yourself really tuning into your body,

Listening to your body.

Listen to it right now as you're lying there.

What's it guiding you to do next?

And imagine now that all those little seeds that you planted have grown into fully grown plants.

Imagine the plants you want to see.

Perhaps it's your favorite plant.

But think of those plants in terms of those wonderful things that you're going to grow in your life,

In your business,

In your work.

No matter what aspect of life you're really looking at here,

It's whatever's right for you.

And I want you now to ground yourself back into this present moment.

Think about the next thing you're going to do when you get up right now.

Perhaps you're doing this meditation at the start of the day or sometime during your working day and you're ready now to get up and make one of those steps forward.

Plant one of those seeds,

Feeling energized,

Feeling awake,

Feeling ready to come back into the room and make a start on your day.

Feel that energy buzzing through your body as it brings your body to life,

As you think about planting those seeds and getting started,

Expanding,

Moving towards your goals.

Maybe give your fingers a little wriggle and your toes a little wiggle and then you're ready.

You're ready to go into your day and move forward with those goals.

Start planting those seeds,

Open your eyes,

Take a big deep breath,

Maybe have a stretch and a wriggle about of your whole body and now get up and off you go.

Go plant those seeds,

Go create your dreams,

Make them come true.
