Welcome to this guided morning meditation.
One of the best ways to start your day is with a positive attitude,
Being grateful for everything you have right now.
This grateful attitude is the foundation upon which more things can come in for you to be grateful for.
Let's set the tone and prepare you for an amazing day.
When you are ready,
Put yourself in a comfortable position.
Before you settle in,
Stretch out your legs,
Your arms and hands.
Roll your head and your shoulders and relax,
Making sure your spine is long and straight.
Now we are going to bring awareness to our breath.
Gently take a breath in,
Thinking of your breath going from the base of your spine all the way up to your head,
And then breathe out through your heart.
Take a minute to mindfully breathe,
Focusing on your breath.
If thoughts from the day start to enter your head,
Let them come and go,
Being sure to refocus on your breath.
Be present in this moment.
If you feel any areas of tension in your body,
Tighten and relax those muscles.
Now,
Start to bring focus to all of the things that you are grateful for.
Let's start with you.
Be grateful that you are alive.
Be grateful for your sense of sight,
Hearing,
Your sense of smell,
Touch.
What else are you grateful for?
Consider all those who are close to you and think about how truly grateful you are that they are in your life.
Be grateful for all of the happy moments and things you have learned along the way.
Now think about Earth,
The air you breathe,
The water you drink,
The food you eat.
Feel blessed,
Loved,
And relaxed.
Let this deep sense of gratitude fill you up and just be here in this moment with a sense of thankfulness,
Acceptance,
And appreciation.
As you breathe,
Let your gratitude go deeper and deeper within your heart.
Now,
In your head,
Repeat after me.
I am grateful for everything I have in my life.
I am successful.
I am open to giving and receiving love.
I am responsible for what I am and where I am.
You will be grateful and honest.
I am living in the present moment.
I am going to have a great day.
Now take this experience with you and let it guide you through your day.
Promise yourself that you will live this day with joy and positivity.
