Sometimes what your mind thinks you need is very different from what your intuition is trying to say.
A voice so gentle that you almost don't even notice it,
Until you do.

We begin this practice here by gently closing your eyes if they aren't already,
As we take our first deep inhale through the nose,
Holding at the top,
And exhale through the mouth as you let the breath go.
Inhale for a count of 6,
Hold the breath,
And exhale through the mouth.
Inhale deeply,
Focus only on your breathing,
Nothing more,
And release.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Letting your breath find a gentle natural rhythm of its own.
Any background noises can be a part of this,
It doesn't have to be perfect,
Nothing does.
Relax your shoulders down.
Soften that open space just between the muscles of your back.
And I invite you here to take your hands,
Placing one over your heart,
And one on your belly.
Taking this pause to be present in this moment.
Your body is like an anchor,
Keeping you grounded,
Holding you steady,
Digging in a little bit more each time you exhale.
And with your hands still gently resting,
With one over your heart and one on your belly,
We connect here to your intuition,
Your inner knowing.
Sometimes what our mind believes we need differs from what our body and intuition truly requires.
Our minds can easily create cages in which we become entrapped.
A constant replaying of our thoughts,
I should,
I should,
I should.
A perspective that may not align with a truly balanced reality,
But to appease the world as you have created it in your mind.
And it is in these moments that your intuition is asking you to turn inward,
To seek the wisdom and guidance that resides within you.
Now,
I invite that voice forward to answer the question,
Where have I been saying yes,
Where I should be saying no?
Quiet minds are filled with answers.
Purposeful moments woven into your day,
So silent that you can hear the whispers of your own heart and the messages from the universe as they are meant for you to hear them.
As you navigate the rest of your day,
Let this reminder guide you,
That sometimes what your mind thinks you need is very different from what your intuition is trying to say.
Intuition is quiet.
There are no emotions connected to it.
It's a voice so gentle that you almost don't even notice it,
Until you do.
Taking a final deep breath in,
And as you breathe out,
Feel into this moment you have just created,
With the intuition that lives within you,
Bringing your awareness back into your body,
As you remember where you were just before we began.
And when you feel ready,
Open your eyes.
