Hi,
I'm Emma and this is your moon cycle meditation.
To begin this practice I invite you just to come to find your most comfortable way of being.
Gather cushions and blankets and just surround yourself with warmth and softness as you settle into this space of comfort,
Honouring this sacred time of the month.
A time that calls for self-care and appreciation for the marvel that your body is.
As we shed the womb during this time,
We're also invited just to shed sides of self,
Releasing anything that doesn't serve us so that we can move into closer alignment with our true selves.
Our intuition during this time is heightened.
So creating this space allows us to truly listen within.
And I invite you to bring a hand onto the womb space and begin to send your breath deep down into this area.
Start to feel the hand rise and fall with the breath,
Just tuning into the sensations of this space.
Coming to rise the other hand onto the heart space,
You have one hand on the womb and one onto the chest.
Holding these energetic spaces that the moon cycle calls to.
The steeper connection in with our heart.
As we are able to hear its call more clearly into the womb as we sense this shedding,
This energetic release that's going on.
And just noticing any sensations that rise in these places and just allowing them space to fully be in this moment.
A welcome expression of all that wants to be heard.
Slowly releasing the hand from the chest down towards the womb space,
Allowing the thumb and the forefinger to come together,
Fingers pointing downwards so that we're forming this triangle in the womb.
Facing in a downwards motion to honour our apana energy that happens at this time.
This downward flow.
As we've honoured this call in to all that wants to be heard,
I invite you just to take a deep inhale in,
Bringing something to release to your mind's eye.
And then exhale releasing letting it go.
A couple more rounds of this,
Feeling what wants to be released rise to the surface as the chest rises.
And then as you exhale the chest falls and just feel that release.
One more here,
Inhale,
Feel this open expansion.
And then exhale,
Feel this grounding,
Letting go.
Just sitting with this vibration of shedding.
Trusting that all has risen in this space,
All that has been released is connecting you to your higher self.
Your intuition knows the way.
Your moon cycle is a powerful way to tap into its direction.
This is your time of potent power.
And as the hands rest on the womb space,
Just taking a moment to practice gratitude for that.
Showing gratitude for the womb for guiding you intuitively.
For offering a sense of release.
And for hosting a place of true power.
Slowly releasing the hands from the womb and bringing them into the heart centre.
Bowing the head to the hands is a sign of this gratitude.
