Good morning,
My name's Daisy and I'll be your guide for the next 5 minutes.
Take a few moments to get comfy.
Maybe you want to stay lying down or sit up so you don't fall back to sleep.
Maybe you want to take a big stretch.
We'll pause this meditation to open the window and invite this new day in.
When you're ready,
Close down your eyes,
Release the hold of your belly and begin to take a few deep breaths in and out.
Filling your belly and chest on the inhale and release the air on the exhale.
Take in any sounds,
Noticing them without judging them.
No meditation is ever going to be completely silent.
Your thoughts and the sounds around you are all part of it.
Just remember to be still and breathe.
There's no right or wrong way to meditate.
We will begin with 3 rounds of lion's breath.
This energising breath will help you release any stale,
Stagnant or negative energy so we can enter this day bright eyed and bushy tailed.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose.
Stick out your tongue and exhale all the air out.
Inhale.
Stick out your tongue.
Last one,
Big deep breath in.
Strong exhale.
Now begin to slowly breathe in and out through your nose,
Finding your natural rhythm of breath.
Full inhales and complete exhales.
Focus all your attention on your breath.
When your mind wanders,
Don't worry,
Just come back to your breath.
With practice this will get easier.
Focus on the gentle inhale of cool air and the slow release of warm air past your nostrils.
In this moment all is well.
You have air in your lungs,
A beating heart and a new day of possibilities waiting for you.
What are you grateful for?
Begin to list things off in your mind.
There's no limit.
Maybe it's your warm comfortable bed,
The big sleep you just had or the warm shower you're about to take.
Be grateful for absolutely everything.
Feeling this grateful feeling in every cell of your body.
As you breathe in,
Can you breathe in this gratitude and wash it all over your body.
You have the choice of how your day unfolds.
You can choose how you react to things and how you see this day.
You are in the driver's seat of your life.
Do this meditation every morning and watch how your day unfolds.

Starting to wriggle your fingers and toes.
Maybe you need a big stretch.
Turning up the corners of your mouth to smile.
When you're ready,
