Today on Struck Inside Out.
Remembering Who I Am.
There was a time,
Long ago,
When we remembered everything.
We knew why we were here,
What our purpose was,
And the ways we were going to change the world.
We didn't doubt this.
We didn't worry how it was going to happen or if it ever would.
We simply understood that our journeying here was going to offer gifts and challenges,
And both would allow us to learn more about ourselves.
When we were children,
The veil between the physical and spiritual world was lifted.
We saw what we can't see now,
And we heard with our ears what our hearts now yearn to listen to.
The landscape we desire to set our sights on,
And the chorus that we ache to hum to,
Is our own inner knowing and spirit.
Even though years have passed,
And time has stretched into moments and memories that feel like eternity,
We still hold the connection to our truth.
As we got older,
And the world's light seemed to dim,
As we became hardened to feel less and think more,
We forgot the song that's forever singing within us,
The one that's eternally present and ready to bring us home.
We must remember this voice now,
My love.
We must connect back to the ballad that weaves itself ever so gently throughout every moment of our lives.
For there is great wisdom waiting for us to lean into its warmth,
To open our hearts and minds and heed its call.
It wants to guide us,
Just as we desire to be guided.
Take a deep breath now,
And as you feel yourself lighten,
Exhale any stress,
Worry,
Or fear.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
And exhale deeply through your mouth.
Take another breath,
And place your hands on your heart.
When you exhale,
Feel the beating in your chest,
The rhythm of your internal symphony.
Breathe,
Feel your heart,
Connect to yourself and the life source within you.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
And exhale deeply through your mouth.
Now,
Placing your palms facing up on your lap,
I want you to sit with the following questions and allow any images,
Thoughts,
And ideas to rise to the surface.
Don't label,
Judge,
Or try to make sense of what you see right away.
Simply sit with yourself and watch the images arise as though you're viewing a film.
If imagery doesn't appear right away,
Or at all,
That's okay.
Just notice the sensations you're experiencing and tune into what's happening within your body.
Relax,
Continue breathing,
And let yourself experience anything that occurs when asking yourself the following questions.
What do I need to know right now that's for my highest good?
What do I need to know right now?
Where in my life can I make changes that will benefit my soul's purpose and realign me with my truth?
What do I need to know right now?
What do I need to know right now?
What do I need to know right now?
What have I forgotten about myself that my soul yearns for me to remember?
What have I forgotten about myself that my soul yearns for me to remember?
How can I serve the world with my unique expression of life?
What have I forgotten about myself that my soul yearns for me to remember?
What have I forgotten about myself that my soul yearns for me to remember?
Now notice how you feel.
Are you lighter?
More relaxed?
Can you see and hear your wisdom more clearly now that you interacted with yourself this way?
It's okay if you didn't experience great insight.
We're in the process of remembering my love.
This remembering takes time.
Continue bringing yourself back into this space as much as you can.
Continue asking yourself the questions that will lead you to your truth.
Remember to trust yourself.
This is how you connect to your intuition.
Without the clamor of the outside world,
You can retreat to your own quiet refuge within and linger there until you understand yourself.
By sitting,
Becoming quiet,
Asking questions,
And listening,
You begin to remember.
Now deepening your breath and bringing your awareness back into the present moment and back into your body at your own pace.
Open your eyes whenever you're ready.
You're remembering my love.
You're remembering who you are and why you're here.
Enjoy your choice in that,
For you are leading yourself back into your truth.
