Welcome,
Sweet beings.
We're gathering in this moment together to do a practice of connecting ourselves with the earth.
It often happens that we spend a lot of our time indoors,
Seated at a desk,
Driving in our cars,
Cooking in the kitchen.
And this practice we will do today,
This guided meditation,
Helps us to reconnect with the magic of nature.
So I want you to get comfortable.
We can do this laying down or in a seated position.
Sometimes it's nice to find a wall or some support system.
Find that comfortable position and then consciously relax the hands and the eyes and the jaw and your toes.
Relax.
Invite the breath to be whatever it needs to be here in this moment.
And then let's take a reset breath together.
Let's draw in a great big inhale and a full exhale.
Return once again to noticing your breath.
Feel the breath move in to your body and feel the breath move out.
And just by doing that,
Sometimes the breath becomes slower or perhaps deeper,
A little smoother.
Tune in.
And as you're noticing the breath,
I want you to imagine in your mind's eye that you're doing that but while laying down on the earth.
You don't have to move your body from where it is.
You can just imagine in your mind's eye a version of yourself lying against the earth,
Paying attention to your breath.
And you might find that you're laying against the mud or the grass,
Maybe it's sand underneath of your body or leaves.
Imagine in your mind's eye that the entirety of the backside of your body rests against the earth.
And you might begin to draw to mind the landscape that forms around you,
Trees or clouds or birds,
Water or fields or mountains.
Imagine that as you're laying here against the earth,
You begin to feel its powerful energy pulsing underneath of you.
Imagine that the energy of the earth is starting to move up through the soil,
Through the grass,
Through the leaves,
Through whatever is touching the backside of your body.
It moves past those places into your own skin,
Into your own cells,
Into your own blood.
And you can feel the vibration of this energy throughout your entire body as you're laying here against the earth and the energy is moving from the earth into your body.
Imagine it as a light,
An energy,
A frequency and a light that moves from underneath of you,
Inside of you.
And you not only feel the vibration of that energy,
But the fullness of that light and this healing effect of being in nature.
This grounding sensation of being so close to the ground.
Imagine in your mind's eye how that feels,
Pulsing,
Moving,
Vibrating,
Radiating throughout your entire body.
And I want you to breathe in that space for a few moments and then we pull away from those particular sensations of the body to once again just notice the breath.
And at first it's noticing the breath in the space that you're in against the ground,
Against the earth,
Lying there in the landscape of your mind's eye.
And as you gain that connection to your breath,
I want you to notice the breath as it is in your own chest,
Exactly where you find yourself now,
Seated or lying down or supported by a wall.
Notice the breath move in and notice the breath move out.
And then once again take a really deep nourishing breath in through the nose and out of the mouth,
Keeping that connection and the magic of nature circulating throughout your entire body,
Energy,
Vibration,
And light to bring back with you into your day,
Sending you immense amounts of love from my heart directly to yours.
