Embracing the present moment,
Meditation.
Take a moment to settle into stillness.
Sit comfortably or lie down,
Allowing your body to rest in support.
Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness inward.
Take a deep breath in and a slow breath out.
Allow the noise of the day to fall away.
Start by noticing your body.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Let your shoulders soften,
Your hands relax,
And your face release any tension.
With every breath,
Allow yourself to sink deeper into comfort and calm.
Bring your attention to your feet,
Your legs,
Your torso,
Your arms,
Your face.
Greet each area with kindness.
There's nothing to change.
Simply notice and allow.
Now tune in to the rhythm of your breath.
Feel the inhale as it flows in and the exhale as it moves out.
Let your breath be your anchor,
Always available,
Always present.
If your mind wanders,
Gently guide it back to your breath.
Inhale,
I am here.
Exhale,
I am now.
The present moment is where peace lives,
Not in the past,
Not in the future,
But right here.
Imagine you're gently opening a window,
Letting in a breeze of now.
This breath,
This heartbeat,
This quiet space.
Say to yourself,
In this moment,
I am safe.
In this moment,
I am enough.
In this moment,
I choose to be present.
Let these words settle into your heart.
There's nothing you need to do,
Nowhere you need to be.
This moment is complete.
Repeat silently,
I return to the present with ease.
I meet this moment with peace and openness.
Allow this to be your mantra for the rest of the day.
Take one more deep,
Steady breath in,
And a long,
Gentle breath out.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Notice the space around you.
Let the awareness of now linger a little longer.
When you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this presence with you into the rest of your day.
Thank you.
