Today we're going to explore your emotions.
Emotions are not the enemy,
They're messengers,
Guiding us back to our center.
But often instead of acknowledging our feelings,
We suppress them or ignore them,
Which only creates more tension and disconnection.
By owning and feeling our emotions,
We create space for healing.
Emotions are temporary.
They pass like clouds in the sky.
When we allow ourselves to feel them fully without judgment,
We release their hold over us.
So let's explore this in today's guided meditation.
Find a quiet space to sit or lie down.
Make yourself as comfortable as you can.
And if you're sitting down,
Place your hands on your lap with your palms facing upward.
And if you're lying down,
Place your arms beside you with your palms facing upward.
With your palms facing upward,
You are sending a signal to your higher self.
And to the higher vibrations that you are ready to receive this information to help you to become more of who you are,
To expand your consciousness and open your heart.
So take a deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Just gently,
Gently.
Relax into whatever you are sitting or lying upon.
Just feel yourself sinking in,
Becoming more and more relaxed with each breath.
Take another deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Just feel your shoulders dropping down,
Your jaw relaxes,
And you begin to feel any tension or tightness just melting away,
Floating away.
This beautiful sense of calm and peace is beginning to flow and move through you.
And imagine now that beautiful golden light,
The light of your higher self.
It's beginning to pour into the room or into the space around you.
It illuminates everything with a beautiful golden hue,
And it illuminates you.
This beautiful golden light is the light of your higher self,
Of your soul.
It's filled with your guides,
Angels,
Light beings and loved ones.
And it's also connected to the very heart at the center of our universe,
To the source of all things.
And this beautiful golden light swirls around you like a mist,
And you can breathe it in and breathe it out,
And just feel how relaxed you feel.
All is well.
So bring to mind a recent moment when you felt a strong negative emotion.
Perhaps it was frustration or sadness or anger.
Allow that feeling to rise again,
Knowing that you are safe to explore it.
Now notice where this emotion lives in your body.
Is it in your chest,
Your stomach,
Or your shoulders?
And just name the emotion.
Just say to yourself,
I feel whatever emotion you're feeling.
But just name that right now.
I feel.
.
.
Now visualize this emotion as a ball of color.
Cup your hands and imagine gently holding this ball of emotion as if it were a small,
Delicate object.
Say to yourself,
It's okay to feel this.
I honor and release it with love.
Take a deep breath in and feel that golden light around you supporting you as you go through this.
And as you breathe out,
You see the ball of color becoming lighter,
Softer,
More translucent.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Just watch the color dissolve.
This ball of color is just dissolving into the golden light and floating away.
And as it floats away,
You feel an absolute sense of freedom.
A sense of relief,
Ease.
Take note of how you feel and honor this moment of feeling absolutely at peace with yourself and all things.
Call all your energies back to this moment,
To this place.
Take a deep breath in.
Being fully present in the here and the now.
And when you feel ready,
Just gently open your eyes and smile.
