Welcome to a five-minute guided meditation with Tibetan singing bowls.
This guided practice is suitable for beginners.
Take the next few moments to find a comfortable position.
You may like to sit on the chair or on the floor,
Perhaps on the cushion.
You may even want to lie down.
Just finding a position that is most comfortable for you.
If you're sitting up,
Make sure you have a nice tall spine.
Just relax your arms and shoulders and placing your hands wherever that is comfortable.
Perhaps in your lap,
On your knees.
You have the option to either close your eyes or drop your gaze down towards the floor.
If you can be 10% even more comfortable,
Feel free to adjust yourself now.
Just notice the sounds that you can hear right now.
Notice when the mind has wandered away from the sounds.
Just allow your attention to come back to the sounds that you're able to hear.
Do not worry if you find that your mind is busy.
This is very normal.
As the mind is designed to think,
Our practice here is to return our attention back to the present moment.
In this moment,
Paying attention to the sounds of the balls.
Trying to let your awareness expand to the sounds and the resonance of these balls.
Perhaps beginning to notice a deeper sense of relaxation.
There is no right or wrong way to practice,
To meditate.
Without simply noticing what you notice.
Just slowly allowing your attention to come back into your body,
Back into the room that you're in.
And then slowly opening up your eyes again and returning back to your day.
Namaste.
