Finding a comfortable position a quiet space gently close your eyes inhaling deep into the belly pausing for a moment and slowly exhaling through the lips repeat two more times gently scan your body from head to toe become aware of any areas of discomfort or tension and allow that area to soften and release using your awareness observation and if you like sending a deep breath to that area this meditation seeks to encourage self-healing through the power of intention through the power of thought through the power of directing loving energy to the place in your body that is in need of healing whatever your situation is taking the time to acknowledge and honor your body is a wonderful step to promote healing I invite you to place your hands around that place needing healing if it's comfortable if not just bring that part of the body into your mind's eye now and take a little moment to develop some sort of visual element that you can apply to this part of your body I like the idea of bringing the robust and eternal powerful light of the stars that we can easily see in our minds eye you might prefer to use a different element perhaps some healing water or tonic perhaps it's a visual of an eraser rubbing out the area of any inflammation or toxicity whatever resonates with you allow that to be your tool now I invite you as you inhale deeply to send that healing breath along with that healing tool to that region of the body in need of healing as you bring the air down into that part of the body imagine that your healing tool works with it to eradicate remove cleanse whatever you know to be necessary for your body to heal picture your tool and the air that you inhale targeting that area of need see that area becoming more and more clean and healthy more vibrant more youthful as you exhale I invite you to imagine you are exhaling stagnant old unneeded air from the mouth and then inhaling fresh rejuvenating cleansing breath target your area of need and then exhaling all that is no longer needed slowly out the mouth whatever visual works for you go with it I quite like to imagine that the air is sort of muddy brown stagnant sort of breath and that as you exhale it out into the universe you are unburdening yourself and the loving universe disposes of it for you find your rhythm of inhaling that cleansing re-energizing breath targeting that place needing healing see in your mind the job that it is doing and then slowly releasing that which is no longer serving you that which the body does not need As that area of need is being honored and loved you might find a gentle smile has risen up on your face.
If the mind wonders simply bring it back to that slow inhale to that visualization that part of the body coming brighter,
Lighter,
Cleansed and healthy and visualizing that stagnant air,
All those toxins leaving the body through your exhale.
Activating the healer within.
Feel this part of your body feeling significantly improved.
