รff oh Good morning.
Before getting involved with the phone or attending to the day's responsibilities,
I'd like for us to pause and be mindful of the first activities of the day,
To bring about a sense of connection with ourselves and align us with the purpose of our day.
I find that if I start the day in a particular way,
It can influence me for the rest of the day.
How I begin the day feels like a statement to myself and the rest of the world.
So I like to take my time in establishing a good space and rhythm in which I can ride like a wave for the rest of the day until I once again rest and sleep.
You can also use this meditation for when you find yourself struggling to keep afloat and need a bit of a practice to calm and recenter yourself.
The morning is the beginning of the day and we can celebrate that by making it a joyful experience to be alive.
And now there's many ways that we can do this.
And for today's practice,
I'd like to establish a way for you to create a mindful,
Peaceful,
And uplifting start to the day,
No matter your personal circumstances.
One thing I want to get straight before we start is to establish really one thing.
It's the fact that it's a miracle that you're here at all.
It's also a miracle that I'm here and I made this recording and you're listening to it anywhere on the planet through your fancy little device.
Whoa.
Perspective.
We have so much to be grateful for.
Before we get started,
I just want to name three things that you're grateful for this morning.
Go.
All right.
Now that we're in a space of gratitude and hopefully reaching some level of ease within our bodies and mind,
Let's now get into a comfortable position that is neither slouching nor stiff.
If lying down,
Rest your arms to your side.
If walking or sitting,
Bring your hands into a mudra of your choosing.
You're awake.
So please smile in gratitude for simply being here.
Give yourself a smile for waking up today and doing this meditation or give a smile to the rest of the world for it coming up and rising and you coming up with it.
You have a body that functions all on its own.
It's amazing.
You have a mind that is capable of so many things like a supercomputer.
It's also amazing.
You have feelings which can run so deep and change the course of your life or stay at the surface.
It's amazing.
You have a spiritual experience always waiting inside of you.
This too is so amazing.
Now that we're in a comfortable position and we feel a sense of gratitude for simply being here,
For simply waking up,
For the world being here,
Providing us with so many things,
We can now focus on the number three.
The number three holds a certain energy.
It's a strong energy that evokes a spiritual connection.
In essence,
Number three is about movement and balance.
If you focus on three and clear any distractions,
You can naturally harmonize your energies with it.
Let's begin by stabilizing the breath,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth,
Allowing some tension to leave in the form of sound with the exhale.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Relaxing further and further into this present moment,
Settling our energies with the breath,
Envisioning the number three.
Imagining the energy of three.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
Ah.
As you continue breathing in through the nose and out the mouth,
Conjure up a mental image of the number three.
Allow it to happen naturally.
Feel the vibrational frequency of this number.
What kind of font is it?
What kind of colors do you see?
What is the feeling behind number three?
Feel the vibrational frequency of this number.
Focus on three for the next few moments.
Can you sense its divine presence?
Can you sense its balancing nature?
Allow it to align you into the present moment.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
Out through the mouth.

Three also represents movement.
There's a sense of when something is starting,
When it is at its peak,
And when it is coming to a close.
Yet all the while,
It's all happening at the same time.
As soon as you're born,
You begin dying.
As you begin dying,
You're beginning to be reborn.
It is the cycle that makes three also so magical.
There are three parts.
There's also unity and flow.
How can you bring unity and flow to your day?
Breathing in through the nose.
Hold.
Breathing out through the mouth.
As I mentioned earlier,
Three is comprised of a start,
Middle,
And end.
Each day that we wake up,
We can smile and be grateful for this life.
We came back into existence after being asleep,
And we didn't have to do anything.
Our bodies were there,
But we were elsewhere.
As we travel through dreams and then reawaken to a new day,
So does life when it is born anew and begins its journey through to the end.
The limitless nature of this existence as we just sit here.
Can you feel the limitless nature of your being as you create distance from your body,
From your mind,
From your emotions?
As you create distance from your body,
From your mind,
From your emotions?
Can you feel the serenity of letting everything go and just focusing on the present?
Can you embody the essence of new,
Birth,
Morning,
Fresh?
Breathing in with the quality of simple presence,
Breathing out with a sense of ease,
Breathing in with the quality of simple presence,
Breathing out with a sense of ease,
Breathing in with the quality of simple presence,
Breathing out with a sense of ease,
With number three as your guide,
The shifting tides of the natural and full breath.
One,
Follow the breath all the way in from the entrance of the nostrils down to the belly and then filling out the lungs and chest,
Becoming full of air.
Two,
Hold this energy within the body and rest.
Three,
Release all the way out.
One,
Follow the breath in,
Feeling the creation of life within your body.
Hold,
Feeling the exuberance of energy inside of you.
Three,
Follow the breath out,
Feeling the completion of the breath.
Once again,
One,
Follow the breath in,
Feeling the creation of life entering your body.
Two,
Hold,
Feeling the exuberance of energy inside of you.
And three,
Follow the breath out,
Feeling the completion of the breath.
