If we harden, the flow of life stops within us and our hearts close up. The ocean can forgive us and by its very cyclic nature, show us how to simply be and let go. Draw the focus of your attention to the breath.

Allow for your awareness to ride the shifting tides of the natural and full breath.

Following the breath all the way from the entrance of the nostrils down to the belly and then filling out the lungs and chest,

Filling the entire body,

Gently expand and become full of air.

Follow the breath all the way in and all the way out.

Your attention is on the breath,

Feeling the waves lapping at you,

Crashing,

Receding,

In and out.

Your chest and belly expand full of air and then collapse leaving the air,

Ready for a new breath,

Ready for a new wave,

Ready for a new day.

The ocean has the power to take away what you no longer need and what you no longer need can be dissolved into the ocean,

Feeling the entire body expanding.

Drop your judgments.

Drop your expectations.

Drop your unrealistic views of life or what to do.

Drop everything and drop into now.

You cannot move forward.

Place your consciousness on what it is that you want to let go and the ocean will take it and forgive you.

You can imagine breathing in the ocean breeze,

Allowing that rich,

Moist air to come into you and cleanse you,

Take something away.

Forgiving means that you do not let anything inside of you get hard.

You stay soft.

You stay sweet.

You stay willing to change when necessary.

Unless you let go.

Unless you realize that the situation is over.

You cannot move forward.
