This is a guided practice to foster quieting of the mind and anchoring your mind to seek mental, physical, and emotional relaxation. It can be listened to daily to establish confidence and life balance.

Make your life work for you.

Lay down on your mat,

Relax,

And create some space between you and your day.

Feel your entire body relax and any stresses or tensions from your day melt away as it creates space and allows you to be in the moment and in the present.

Bring your awareness to your breath and your internal state.

While letting your breath be very relaxed,

Breathe using the full capacity of your lungs.

Extend both your inhalation and your exhalation while giving your body and mind direction to relax.

Allow your entire body and your mind to relax.

Feel your body relaxing into the mat while you feel its support.

Ground yourself with each exhalation.

Let go of any chatter in your mind.

Let go of any feeling or emotions that do not serve you at this moment.

While you are in this relaxed state,

Create a symbol of mental relaxation.

Using your non-dominant hand,

Tap somewhere on your body that you will remember and that you'll associate with mental relaxation.

Then create a symbol for physical relaxation.

Using your non-dominant hand,

Tap somewhere else on your body that will remind you of physical relaxation and that you want to associate with physical relaxation.

Finally,

Create a symbol for emotional relaxation.

Using your non-dominant hand,

Tap somewhere on your body that you will remember and that you want to associate with emotional relaxation.

Vividly form these images,

Knowing that you can recall them at will.

With each exhalation,

Draw in revitalizing energy.

Experience it,

Encapsulating and filling your entire being.

Experience and visualize yourself in a very centered,

Stable,

Restorative and empowered state.

Focus on this state that is always within you.

Focus on what you imagine to be your vital,

Dynamic center.

Focus on that place within you that is very quiet and is very peaceful.

Affirm that your life has purpose.

Affirm that you are courageous.

Affirm that your attitudes are constructive and serve you as well as others.

They enable you to be clear and open to all situations and all that life has to offer.

Affirm that you can create the life you choose and make changes that serve you and others.

Recall the symbols for mental,

Physical and emotional relaxation,

Knowing that you can recall them at any time and return to each of these states at will using your symbol and tapping the associated location on your body with your non-dominant hand.

Begin now to bring your awareness back,

Drawing your awareness back to this room,

Coming all the way back.

Become aware of your surroundings knowing that you have tools to connect with those states of mental,

Physical and emotional relaxation.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes and as you explore and experience your day,

Be present and mindful in those states of mental,

Physical and emotional relaxation.
