Dr.
Ruth Anderson here with the Meditation A Day.
We are so pleased to have Rebecca Bietra Braxis here with us for a sound meditation.
So please welcome her.
Just take some time,
Get settled in,
And thank you for joining us.
Rebecca,
Thank you so much for being here.
Yes,
My pleasure.
Today's meditation is on remembering the lightness of summer.
So we are heading into July and we've got the 4th of July.
We've got the warmth coming back a bit and so let's just settle into our meditation seat today.
I'm going to guide you into a sound bath.
There will be some quiet afterwards and then I will guide you out.
So enjoy this sound bath meditation,
Reminding you of the lightness of summer where we're going to let go of our resistance and really put up the volume of our playfulness,
Which summer reminds us of.
Okay,
So tuning into your breath,
The inhale and the release.
Here we go.
Let the breath tickle your toes.
Bring the breath up through your legs,
Through your central channel,
Through your heart,
Into your head.
Tune into the lightness in your heart in your heart that matches the lightness of summer,
The warm summer breeze,
The sunlight that keeps us physically and spiritually awake,
The song of the birds,
The sounds,
The symphony of the grass,
Flowers,
And blooming trees.
Let that fill you up as we go into this sound bath.
The breeze and the breath come in and out.
Start to feel your sit bones on your seat.
May today's time together remind us to bring lightness into every area of our life this summer.
And if you listen to this outside of summer,
May you bring the lightness of summer into whatever time of year you're in,
Allowing your lightness to infiltrate every cell,
Every space of your being,
Every experience of your life.
Wiggle your toes.
Wiggle your fingers.
And together,
Let's awaken our eyes.
Thank you.
Rebecca,
That was beautiful.
I'm glad you liked it.
I did.
I loved it.
And absolutely,
The visuals of summer in wide open spaces.
Beautiful.
Thank you.
