Hello again,

Good morning,

Good afternoon,

Good evening,

Good night,

Whatever it is,

Welcome to time out and journey two.

And again,

Congratulations on taking this time for yourself.

Today we're going to practice the first of the little triggers to remind our body when we're going to start so that we can take time out and your body goes,

Yes,

This is it.

So make yourself comfortable wherever you are in your space,

In your place and take a deep breath in and then a long slow breath out.

As soon as you do this,

Your body will switch from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic nervous system,

That part of your body that is geared up for you to be relaxed,

All those things that you do automatically that you do not have to think about.

This is what we want our body to learn to do,

To be able to take time out to rest and be at ease and peace automatically.

So let's practice a deep breath in and a long slow breath out.

This time as you do it,

Just let those eyes close,

A deep breath in and a long slow breath out and taking yourself now to that space behind your eyes,

That warm,

Sometimes dark,

Sometimes light,

Just sit there for a moment and watch the screen.

Today we are visiting the garden of your mind.

And as your screen opens like a movie,

You can see a curving path through garden beds.

May curve to the right or the left or it may curve straight away ahead.

Just step onto the path into your garden.

In each step you take along the path that weaves its way gently between garden beds,

The more relaxed you will feel.

Notice the plants that are on either side of your path,

Some tall,

Some small,

Perhaps some with bright flowers or lush foliage.

Notice there's a breeze,

A gentle breeze that is accompanying you,

Creating small eddies on the path,

Letting the leaves dance slightly,

The dust.

Each step connect to the energy,

The natural state in the garden of your mind.

Just following the path,

Connect to the energy of it all.

And as we curve around the next part,

There are some steps that lead to a lower path,

Also curved.

Just three steps down to a lower path.

Let's take them,

Each step bringing you peace and calmness.

One,

Two,

Three.

And as you stand on this path,

You'll notice it only has a garden bed on one side and a gentle bank to a vast lawn on the other.

Mature trees stand tall in the vast lawn and we can walk along it for a while,

Taking in the garden on one side and the lawn,

The greenness and the trees on the other until we come to some more steps that lead down to the lawn.

Again,

One,

Calmness.

Two,

Sense of peace.

Three,

Standing on soft green grass.

Feel it beneath your feet,

Supporting you,

Taking the smell,

The sense of space and distance,

And comfort.

The gentle eddying breeze is with you still,

Just slightly moving the blades of grass.

And across the lawn in the distance is a small building.

Let's walk now across the grass,

Each step filling you with a sense of life and lightness and greenness and comfort and stillness,

Safe in your garden.

As we come closer to the distant building,

You'll notice it resembles something like a small Greek temple with domed roof and fluted pillars open to the air.

As we get even closer,

You can see that it is surrounded by a small moat and that moat is filled with water plants.

And as you come close to it,

You can see the water is transparent and small fish weave their way through the aquatic plants.

We can walk around the moat with a beautiful temple in the middle,

Around it,

Noting the way the light reflects off the water and how the ripples create patterns as the gentle breeze moves between the plants.

And the moat until we find there are some strong stepping stones that lead from your side to the building.

Now,

You may be a bit wavery about stepping on stepping stones,

But there's a pole there which you can take to help you find your way across.

So let's make our way now across the moat,

Stepping onto the first stone.

Feel its strength flow through you,

A sense of stability and grounding and peace.

Step now to the next step,

Stillness.

Let's go to the next step now,

Calmness.

The next step,

The next step,

One more stone until you can step on to the land,

The small area that surrounds the temple.

And as you have come close now,

Take a look at the pillars that rise into the air.

White,

Smooth,

Fluted,

The domed ceiling.

And feel the breeze as it flows between the pillars.

In the middle of the small temple is a table and chairs waiting for you.

Take your seat there now,

You'll find there's food and a drink of crystal clear water.

Feel the breeze as it moves through you,

Around you.

From here you can survey the garden,

The lawns,

The paths,

The plants,

The trees and a glimpse of the sky.

Listen to the wind,

Gentle breezes like little zephyrs.

This is the temple of the wind and the wind is singing to you through the trees,

Through the pillars.

As it wraps itself around you and passes,

Feel it take away the stress,

The tension,

The anxiety and leave you with a sense of peace and calmness.

Perhaps a little stronger to take away those stresses and tensions that are tight.

Feel it move across your cheeks and in your hair as you become lighter and lighter,

Leaving you with that sense of being free,

At ease,

Still.

You may or you may not have noticed that on the table is paper and a pencil and you can now write a question that you'd like to ask,

A question for guidance.

So just take a moment and write the question on the paper and let it lift now,

Let it lift now and float on the breeze.

Watch it drift beyond the temple,

Beyond the moat,

Higher and higher until it drifts out of sight and know that somewhere,

Sometime you'll receive an answer to your question.

Feel the presence of us all here and though you may be in your garden alone,

We are all with you,

Supporting each other on the breeze.

The song of the breeze connects us all with peace and calmness and love.

It's time to return now.

Give thanks for the energy of the temple that has supported you.

If you use the pole,

Make sure you pick it up and make your way across the stones,

One at a time to the safety of the Lord.

Remember to leave the pole behind for next time or for someone else when they visit their garden in their mind.

Come back now across the grass,

The light beneath your feet.

Notice how light you are,

How refreshed you are,

How at ease and at peace you are,

Making the way up the steps along the lower curved path,

Up the steps to the upper curved path,

Back to the screen of your mind and bring yourself back.

Get back out of it into the space behind your eyes and then back into your place,

Your space,

Your time,

Bringing with you all that sense of stillness and calmness and peace and connection to us all.

And remember somewhere,

Sometime you'll receive the answer to your question.
