Hello and welcome to this short somatic check-in.
My name's Jasmine and I really wish to welcome you here fully.
We're going to call all parts of ourselves back to be fully present now and you can use this as a routine check-in once,
Twice,
Maybe three times throughout the course of your day.
I invite you to find a comfortable position.
You can choose to be seated,
Lying down or you might even be on the move,
Walking mindfully as we reconnect.
If you are seated or lying down,
Allowing for the eyes to either soften or they may close.
Let's take a gentle breath in through the nose and a slow breath out through the mouth.
And as we greet the breath,
We notice how it feels to check in with ourselves in this way.
How it feels to land with yourself and with your breath.
Initially bringing your awareness up into your mind,
Conscious of any thoughts,
Any stories,
Any memories that have been drifting in and out.
And we can view these thoughts similar to clouds in the sky.
They are not fixed but instead they flow,
They move in and they move out.
And with your next conscious breath,
Bringing your awareness down into your heart space as we connect to any emotions that might be present with you now.
Honoring that these emotions can be very subtle and sometimes they can be very intense,
Very strong.
Just noticing what emotional energy is there.
And with your next conscious breath,
Allowing the awareness to now drift throughout your body as we notice sensations that we feel.
Maybe parts of the body that are in contact with a surface,
The feeling of fabric and clothes on your skin.
Just noticing.
And with your next conscious breath,
Feeling as you return back into your space,
Back into the room,
Allowing perhaps for your eyes to blink open as you take in your surroundings.
And as you welcome your space back,
Feel as though you are here fully and truly complete.
And as you're gazing around your space,
Perhaps affirming with a,
