A place to be calm,

And content.
A place where you have no worries or cares or concerns.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable place on the floor.
Lying quietly,
Gently put your hands on your belly and close your eyes.
Now bring your attention into your body by focusing on your breath.
Take a deep breath in and feel your tummy rise up.
Now a breath out.
Feel your tummy sink down.
Breathe in slowly,
Feeling your belly rise up and breathe out.
Let's do this a couple more times.
Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
Allow your breathing to relax you.
Feel the muscles in your toes relaxing.
Then in your feet and legs,
In your hands and arms,
Your bellies and your shoulders and neck.
Relax the muscles in your face.
Now using your imagination,
Let's begin to create your peaceful place.
Your peaceful place can be imaginary or real.
It can be small or large.
It can be inside or outside.
Imagine details about your peaceful place.
Imagine the temperature.
What colors are in your peaceful place?
Is there water?
Are there trees?
You can decorate your peaceful place.
Maybe it's a ballet stage or Minecraft room.
Maybe it's your bedroom.
Do you have any furniture there?
Or toys?
Or stuffies?
Are you alone?
Would you like to invite a pet into your peaceful place or a friend?
What are you doing in your peaceful,
Calming place?
What variety of things are you doing there?
Everything you need is in your peaceful place.
A place to be calm,
Happy,
Content.
A place where you have no worries or cares or concerns.
Now let's turn our attention back to the present.
Wriggle your fingers and toes.
Wake up your body and slowly open your eyes.
Notice how you're feeling in your body.
You can return to your peaceful place in your mind whenever you need a break.
When would be a good time to remember your peaceful place?
