Good morning,
Sweet soul.
Let's begin by sitting comfortably,
Lengthening the spine,
A slight dip in the chin,
Feeling the length on the back of your neck,
Settling in to the stillness of the morning.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Feel it travel through the belly,
The ribs,
Chest and shoulders,
And let a gentle exhale fall out of the mouth,
Softening even more through the shoulders,
Relaxing the eyebrows.
And then bring your awareness to the breath coming in through the nose,
Lengthening every exhale,
Feeling grateful for our breath,
For another day,
For an opportunity,
For a new beginning.
Let your awareness be on the breath as it moves into the heart space,
Observing how you're feeling this morning,
Breathing in,
Widening the heart space,
And exhaling any worry,
Any fear you may have regarding this day.
Staying aware of your breath,
Let's work with a mantra for our day.
Repeat out loud after me,
Grace and mercy fill this day,
I am protected in every way.
Grace and mercy fill this day,
I am protected in every way.
As we breathe in,
And as we breathe out,
Repeat this mantra for a few moments here to yourself,
Breathing in grace,
Breathing in mercy.
See yourself move through this day with grace,
With ease,
With fluidity,
With everything working out for your highest good,
With everything working out with a sense of calmness,
With a sense of ease,
Trusting and knowing there's a time for everything and everything happens in its time.
Grace and mercy fill this day,
I am protected in every way.
Repeating it,
Repeating it,
Repeating it silently to yourself,
And with every breath the heart expands through the back of the body,
Through the sides of the body,
Through the front of the body,
Filling up with this grace,
With this mercy,
With this openness,
And with this ease.
Grace and mercy fill this day,
I am protected in every way.
Breathe deeply into the heartbeat,
Filling up all the way.
Allow a gentle exhale to come out of your mouth.
As you feel safe,
You know your entire day is protected and filled with peace,
And you know you can walk forward,
Offering this peace to everyone you come in contact with,
To everyone you're in conversation with.
This peace,
This grace,
This ease goes with you.
Take one more final deep breath in,
Coming back into your body,
Back into this room,
Exhaling,
Ready for your day,
And then slowly open your eyes.
