So gently closing your eyes.
And just allowing yourself to rest.
Just rest.
Lay yourself to rest.
And still the body.
Still the mind.
And by doing that we still the mind by bringing our awareness of our mind or our busy mind back down into our body.
And you can imagine that there is a an escalator going down,
Down from the top of your head going down.
The escalator as it goes down you feel your body begin to soften and to relax.
And for the purpose of this meditation I would like you to imagine that right now you are lying on a beautiful warm blanket on an expanse of green grass in a beautiful place in nature.
And the sun is high in the sky and the rays of that sunlight are shining down upon you warming your body.
And as you become aware of your body lying on this blanket in this beautiful place.
Take in three deep breaths now with me.
Breathing in all the way into your belly.
Hold that breath and breathing out on the side.
And again deep breath in.
Hold that breath and breathing out on the side.
And one more time.
Deep breath in.
Follow that breath in.
Hold that breath and breathing out on the side.
And as you lay here now you allow your breath to go back to a normal rhythm.
And where you're lying now here in this beautiful place in nature.
In the distance you can hear the sound of a chime.
Possibly hanging from someone's veranda.
And as you feel the slight breeze gently caressing your skin on your face and your hands.
You continue to hear the sounds of nature around you.
And you can hear the sound of that chime gently moving with the breeze.
And as you listen to that sound it's as if it's calling you home.
Calling you home not to so much a place,
Not so much to a memory,
But calling you home to yourself.
To your soul self.
And as you lie here in this beautiful place feeling the soft blanket beneath you.
You stretch your hands out either side of you and you feel the soft grass beneath the palms of your hands.
Reach out now and feel the blades of grass.
And you notice that your feet are there.
And the skin at the back of your heels are also just off the blanket and connecting with the grass.
You feel the coolness of the blades of grass.
The softness.
And you feel like you're being transported now.
Transported inwards.
Inwards to a beautiful place inside you.
And as you feel this motion,
You feel the sense of calm,
Of serenity that really can only be found on the inside.
And as you hear the distant chimes,
It brings your awareness to your heart.
Notice the energy around your heart.
And notice that as you focus here on your heart,
There's a warm feeling.
Penetrating all the way from your heart and your heart chakra out all around you.
It's as if you've switched your beautiful heart light on.
Just by bringing your awareness here.
Listen now to your heart.
And if your heart could speak now,
I wonder what it would say.
And you feel your body become more relaxed.
You feel an energy starting to emanate from the soles of your feet.
It's as if the blades of grass have extended up and grown and have entered into the soles of your feet.
Connecting you with Earth,
With Mother Earth.
Feel the sensation at the soles of your feet.
And feel an energy emanating and entering into your feet.
And you feel the tingles here.
As this energy flows into your feet,
Flows up through your ankles,
Up through your shins and calves,
All the way up through your knees,
All the way up through your thighs.
And your legs and your feet become heavy.
Heavy and relaxed.
And now feel the energy flow into your buttocks,
Up into your pelvis,
Into your abdomen.
And flowing up through your stomach.
And finally flowing up into your heart.
And stop for a moment now.
And notice how this nurturing energy from Mother Earth flows in and around your heart.
And then you become aware of your hands now still stretched out.
Feeling the blades of grass beneath your palms and beneath your fingers.
And it's almost like you've grown roots from your hands into the Earth.
And you feel the energy beginning to flow up into your hands and down your fingers.
Feel the energy flowing up through your wrists,
Up through your elbows and your arms,
All the way up to your shoulders.
And down in and around your heart.
And feel this energy circulating around your heart,
In and around and back out,
Back out through your hands,
Into the Earth.
Feel yourself now,
Your upper part of your body becoming very heavy and very relaxed.
And now be aware that there's an energy that's entering into the crown of your head.
Feel the energy flowing in through your crown and through your third eye.
And this energy is coming from the sun.
And feel it spiraling down through your face,
Spiraling down through your throat.
And breathe it into your heart.
And feel the connection of these two energies dancing,
Dancing around your heart.
The connection of Earth,
The connection of the sun,
The connection of mother and the connection of father.
The connection of all that is.
And be aware that as you continue to lie here,
Connected,
Sustained and nurtured by Mother Earth,
Holding you,
Supporting you,
Helping you to feel strong.
And the caress of the breeze and the warmth of the sunlight flowing all the way through the top of your head,
All the way down through your body.
Feel the connection.
Feel the connection to your own being,
Your own soul.
Discarding all thoughts and worries of the day.
Discarding all the shoulds and woulds and what ifs.
And just allowing these two energies to flow and circulate.
Entering into every cell of your body.
Allow yourself to feel nurtured now.
And again,
Bringing your awareness to your heart.
If your heart had one message for you right now,
I wonder what it would be.
I'll allow you now to lie in this stillness,
In this beautiful place in nature.
Feeling supported,
Feeling grounded.
And allow the breeze and the chimes to speak to your heart.
Thank you.

Thank you.
And be aware that your heart speaks and whispers.
In sensations.
Maybe even in visions.
Be aware of any emotions that rise up.
And as you continue to breathe,
Let them go.
Let them go.
Let them go.
Your heart has all the answers.
And it's in the stillness that you can hear the gentle whispers.
And now,
With this awareness of this connection,
That can never be broken.
I invite you to bring your awareness back.
And as you take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Gently bring your awareness back to your body and where you're sitting now.
And know that you can bring this feeling and this softness and the stillness back with you.
Back to the room.
Back to your waking state.
And as you take another deep breath in and breathe out.
Bring your awareness to your toes and to your fingers.
And just gently give them a wriggle.
And finally on your third breath and breathing out.
And gently open your eyes and bring your awareness back to your space.
