Welcome.
During this meditation all you have to do is relax,
Listen and use your imagination.
Afterwards you will feel more calm and peaceful.
Sit or lay down in a comfortable position.
Make sure you're sitting with your back straight.
Then move your body around a little to feel what position is the most comfortable.
Move your legs,
Your arms and your head.
And wiggle your fingers and toes.
And then put them down wherever feels natural.
Now find a place of stillness and allow your body to become heavy.
Take a moment to notice how your body is supported.
There is no tension in your neck nor in your spine.
The position you chose feels comfortable.
Remind yourself that you feel good here,
That you feel safe.
Then bring your awareness towards your breath.
Notice how your inhale fills your lungs with fresh air.
And observe how you feel while you exhale.
Then inhale deeply through your nose and send the air all the way towards your stomach,
Your ribs and your chest.
Exhale through your mouth and relax your shoulders.
Take another deep inhale through your nose and with your next exhale imagine letting go of all of your thoughts.
Take one last deep breath in and out.
And let your breathing return to a rhythm that feels natural.
Now I want to ask you to imagine that you're outside.
It's night time and you find yourself walking around in a green environment.
The weather is nice and the temperature feels comfortable.
The moon is full tonight and she is shining bright.
You are standing barefoot in the grass on top of a hill,
Looking around,
Enjoying the view.
You are feeling relaxed and safe.
Then you look up towards the sky and you're seeing little dots of light all across the sky.
And between the stars the moon is shining brightly.
She's lighting your path.
Then you get up and you're getting ready to jump.
You take this leap of faith and you find yourself flying effortlessly through the atmosphere towards the moon.
When you land on the moon you bounce back a little because you're lighter here than you are on earth.
It feels a little funny at first but after a while you are bouncing around on the pale blue surface of the moon.
You're feeling safe to look around and explore.
Now it's time to return to earth.
You look up and you see that big blue sphere that is burnt.
It seems so close.
And you're standing there on the moon watching the earth.
You can see how it's getting darker on one side and lighter on the other side.
You can see the clouds floating across the surface and beneath them you're seeing the outlines of the oceans and continents.
Now I want you to zoom in on your continents as if you were watching through a camera and you can magnify the picture.
Now you can see the mountains,
The valleys,
Rivers and the outlines of big cities.
Somewhere in the middle there is a little flag that marks your location.
You keep zooming in onto your location.
Now you can clearly see the landmarks that are nearby.
And you keep getting closer and closer until you see your own body.
You look comfortable and relaxed.
Now focus your awareness on feeling your own body again and go within.
You notice you're still feeling lighter like you were on the moon.
Take a deep breath in and out.
And when you feel ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Namaste.
