Hello and welcome.
This is a meditation that was created for us to sit back and reflect on the day that we call Valentine's Day and for us to release what energy there may be in the collective level from suffering and pain to embracing the benefits of love that came from others who embraced their shared energy.
I want you to lay down and quietly allow your body to settle.
As your body is on the ground,
I want you to embrace the feeling that your skin has against the ground.
Allow the skin to settle.
Feel the nerves and the endings.
Feel any sensations,
Any tingling.
Allow it to settle.
Pay attention to it and breathe into it.
Continue to allow your body to relax further to a calm place,
Somewhere with warmth and comfort that you feel maybe at the end of a meal or after you get out of a bath.
Take that memory of how your body has felt like that in the past and bring it into the current moment and focus on that.
We are now going to move into your mind.
Allow all the thoughts that have raced through your day come forward into a movie in front of you,
In front of your eyes,
In front of your forehead and allow the moments of your day to go through.
Try to think to yourself how much of those thoughts were thoughts that were created in your mind versus actual experiences and separate them into two different piles.
Let's go through the experiences that actually take place and shuffle through them and allow the really touching or even moments that were filled with nothing but lots of meaning.
Let them float to the top.
Think about maybe times that you noticed when the wind was blowing,
When the weather was changing,
When there was a person walking in front of you,
When there was an opportunity for you to make change.
And be proud of yourself for noticing those moments and allow those memories to become strong and resonate with those feelings of confidence and connection,
Not just to your environment but what you have in regards to your heart.
Let's go through the second pile and these are all the thoughts that have ran through your head for the day.
Again let's split these pile items into two.
The first will be positive thoughts that ran through your head.
Maybe it was a thought about somebody you loved in the past that you still hold that same amount of love for them.
Maybe you took action from that thought.
Let that thought be one that can be embraced,
Thought about,
And deeply held.
Better let it also release as you took the action and move on to the current moment.
Now let's move on to the second pile,
Negative thoughts.
This may have been a moment where you felt as though somebody from your past or somebody currently in your life may have forgotten about you.
Or maybe they presented to themselves today to you an idea that wasn't representative of what you expected.
Maybe there was anger towards the way that somebody had treated you in the past.
Once you take all of these ideas,
We're going to take them into a bucket and throw them in.
You can do them gently or you can throw them very hard,
As hard as you can.
But release the energy that's attached to them into this bucket.
We're going to take this bucket and we're going to walk down and open up a gate into a meadow.
And this meadow contains almost a lovely yellowish haze above it from all the wonderful flowers that are in its meadow.
Beans buzzing all over the place and a warmth of sweet smell,
A breeze.
You feel the bucket in your hand and you know it's there.
And you start walking forward towards a creek.
You're going to take this bucket and look down in the bucket and each one of these ideas and thoughts that you release with energy turned into a fish.
You're going to allow these fish to go into a river,
Into the creek,
Into a lake,
Whatever form of water you want it to be.
But let it be water,
Let it signify the cleansing,
The letting go,
The calm,
Clear,
Crisp purity that it can be let go into.
And release it.
You're now going to walk back to the gate and walk back inside to a home that's white with a big large red door.
You're going to open up this door and walk inside towards a golden orb that's in the middle of a room.
As you walk into this room,
You'll see inside of that orb a reflection of yourself.
Just an image of everything that you've understood about yourself and that you've hold as your truth.
You're going to let it split into different parts that you understand and that you've seen in regards to your actions.
Take one particular moment,
One item that particularly you're fond of about yourself right now.
You're going to take that memory,
An idea,
And you're going to attach it to something in the past that reminded you with that same feeling.
And you're going to lace it with an actual needle and thread.
You're going to take that needle and thread and take that past memory and you're going to sew it on the end and take it and sew it into your current time period.
And allow the string to become long again and bring it out into the future.
You're going to create an imaginary present that's in the future of that same quality that you love about yourself,
But this time with color and vibrancy that you've never seen before.
Energy that's undefinable.
Experiences you never could have imagined.
It is going to become a golden thread that will become between the timeline of the past,
Present and future and all become one.
But it will repeat because the past was an experience that allowed you to build into now and what you want for the future.
All based on love for yourself.
You're going to allow that to play in your mind back to the movie screen that we were at originally.
Allow those memories to drain into your throat.
Allow it to become a piece of a journal that you write to yourself.
You write this not just for yourself,
But for others to also see what you've done for yourself.
That you truly understand who you are,
What you have to give for others and where you have found love that is true.
I want you to now take that feeling,
Bring it down into your heart and let it become permanent.
Let it become a part of the cells in your body.
Every time a cell splits off,
It uses this energy that you have created and becomes a new person,
New element of love for you and for everyone else.
Slowly now,
I want you to come back to your body and start feeling your toes,
Your head,
Your back and slowly start recognizing where you are.
As you come back to your breath,
Breathe back into your stomach and let it out and let it come back in with a breath of fresh understanding of how you can approach with a new body and mind and spirit.
