Welcome to this very brief meditation to help us relieve stress and tension and return to a more grounded place.
Let's begin by closing our eyes,
Relaxing our jaw,
Relaxing our shoulders,
Trying to release any tension we may have in our bodies.
We'll take two deep breaths with an inhale into the nose,
Exhale out of the mouth,
And an inhale into the nose,
And an exhale out of the mouth.
As we sit here with our breath,
Gently breathing in and breathing out,
Let's remind ourselves to control only those things within our control.
Let's remind ourselves that generally things do turn out okay.
Let's remind ourselves that frequently those things we worry about do not actually happen.
Continuing to breathe gently,
Let's take another inhale into the nose,
And an exhale out of the mouth.
