Are you ready to visit Dreamland? The land of dreams is a magical place where anything can happen and can I tell you a little secret? Every night you get to choose which part of Dreamland you want to visit. To visit the best places in Dreamland you have to make sure that you are ready. Are you lying down comfortably in your bed? Make sure that you have just the right amount of blankets over you so that you are not too hot and not too cold. Oh what was that you asked? You have a friend who wants to come along. Of course they are welcome. Dreamland is a wonderful place to bring a friend. Just make sure that your cuddly toy or your furry best friend is snuggled safely in your arms. The best way to get to Dreamland is in your very own bedship. Don't worry you don't need a special bed. Your bed is already able to take you to Dreamland and it will also bring you back safely in the morning. You just need to learn how to steer your bedship to where you want to go. To get started on your journey to Dreamland you need to relax your body completely. Once you are completely relaxed your bedship can float up into the air and take you to any place in Dreamland you want to visit. Let's breathe together to help your body relax. Try to close your eyes. Now breathe with me as you feel your body become more and more relaxed. Take a long slow breath in and slowly out again. Another long slow breath in and slowly out again. Let's breathe together one last time. Take a last long slow breath in and slowly out again. Try to keep your eyes closed as you continue to breathe at your own pace. I will keep telling you about the wonderful things you encounter when you visit Dreamland. As you breathe slowly and deeply and become more and more relaxed your bedship gently lifts off the ground. Can you feel it swaying just a tiny bit under you? And there at your window is a fairy. She will open the window for your bedship so that you can fly off to Dreamland. But first she will have to make you and your bed small enough to fit through the window. Lie very still while she sprinkles the magic fairy dust all over you. You are ready to fly off to Dreamland now. Can you feel your bedship sailing quietly through the night? Above you the stars are twinkling and a big beautiful moon is lighting your way. You can just lie back and relax. We are almost there. You feel a soft bump when your bedship touches down on soft grass. You look around and see that you have landed in a meadow on the side of a tall mountain. Next to your bedship a soft bunny is waiting for you. The fairy dust must still be working because the bunny is almost as tall as you. He holds out his paw to you with a friendly smile. He wants to show you something. You put your hand in his paw and allow the bunny to lead you to a small door in the side of the mountain. If it wasn't for the bunny who led you to the door you would have missed it. The door is the same color as mountain rocks but the texture is different from the rock surrounding it. You also notice that the door has an interesting handle with twisting patterns carved all over it. Under the handle there is a keyhole with outer key. The bunny takes a small silver key that is hanging from a chain around his neck and unlocks the door. He beckons you to follow him through the door. Once inside he takes a lantern from a shelf against the wall. He taps it softly with his paw and suddenly a whole bunch of tiny lights flickers on inside the lantern. When you look closer you realize that the lights inside the lantern are fireflies. By the light of the firefly lamp the bunny leads you carefully through a long passage. Under your feet you can feel smooth slightly damp stone. In the distance you can hear water trickling. Just when you start to wonder how far you still have to go you see a faint glow lighting up the passage ahead of you. One more turn and then you bump into bunnies soft fur as he suddenly stops just in front of you. When you look up you see that you have reached the largest and most fantastical cave that you have ever seen. There are enormous crystals everywhere and in every color that you can imagine. They glitter and glow with light. There is a small stream running through the middle of the cave. It reflects the light shining from the crystals in spectacular colored beams of light. There are tiny dots of light moving about the cave. These little lights are even more fireflies. Next to you you notice that bunny is opening the firefly lamp and the fireflies stream out of the lamp to join their friends who are flying amongst the magnificent crystals. They seem to be playing with the beams of rainbow colored light that is being reflected from every surface. Bunny beckons again and you follow him to the bubbling stream. He drinks some of the cool clear water and invites you to do the same. The water tastes sweet and fresh. Soon you forget that you had to walk such a long way to get to this enchanted cave because now you feel ready to explore. Bunny takes your hand and shows you around. You marvel at the biggest crystals that tower over you. You get a little dizzy looking at your own reflections moving over crystals as smooth as polished glass. When you hold your hand out in front of you the rainbow reflections from the crystals tint your skin in every imaginable color. The fireflies dance and swoop around you. You climb up a few steps to a higher part of the crystal cave which allows you to look down over the stream below you. Bunny sits down and invites you to do the same. Together you sit and watch the beautiful rainbow colors shimmer and glimmer as the fireflies play around the cave. You can stay here in this magical cave with Bunny for as long as you like. When it is time for you to go back home again Bunny will call some fireflies to come back to his lamp so that he can light the way along the passage for you. He will unlock the little door and take you safely to your bedship where he will tuck you under your blankets before sending you back home again. Your bedship will lift softly up into the air and fly gently through the night until it slips back through your window again. Once you are safely back in your room the fairy will wave her wand to blow her fairy dust away and you and your bed will return to its usual size. Remember that you are welcome to return to dreamland each and every night. All you have to do to get back here is settle down comfortably in your bed. Close your eyes, Take a few deep breaths to relax and decide where you want to go next.
