Hi,

My name is Nathaniel and today you and I are going on a journey into our idea of food.

You and I probably have similar ideas around food.

We love it,

But perhaps too much.

We have a love-hate relationship with it because we know that if we leave those tasty treats lying around we're going to eat them and then we'll feel bad about ourselves.

So let's start by relaxing where you are.

If you're sitting down settle in and if you're lying down make yourself comfortable.

Start by taking some big deep breaths in and out.

In and out.

In and out.

And continue to breathe deeply.

Feel your belly fill with air and feel yourself finding your center.

Become aware of the fact that you feel yourself right where you are right here.

You're a being on this earth sitting here listening to me quietly.

As you continue to breathe deeply let's go even deeper.

Starting with your feet.

Imagine them as if they were made of concrete.

Very heavy,

Very heavy.

So heavy in fact that you can barely move them.

Your feet feel very warm and nice and heavy.

So relaxed.

You feel this warm heavy feeling move up into your legs.

They also feel very heavy,

Very heavy indeed.

A heaviness that feels so good because you no longer have to concentrate to relax.

Your legs are doing it all for you.

This deep feeling of heaviness coincides with your breath.

Every breath in and every breath out deepens and lengthens the lovely feeling of heaviness and relaxation in your legs.

And of course this heaviness is traveling along your body bit by bit.

You now find your butt and stomach and lower back.

The whole lower part of your trunk becoming deeply relaxed.

And you might feel that your body wants to take an even deeper breath.

And you let it.

Releasing all control over your body now.

Releasing your body into its own knowledge of how to relax.

This beautiful heavy feeling sinks into your lower trunk and travels gradually up over your ribs and shoulders.

Your upper back.

All those muscles releasing and relaxing into the surface beneath.

Getting in new releases and you suddenly find yourself able to breathe even deeper and easier.

Look at that.

Feel that release.

Make it even easier and more pleasurable to breathe deeply.

Your arms now sink deeply.

Feeling so heavy and lovely.

Pulsing with a deep energy.

A heaviness that travels into your neck and head.

Into those deep parts that once held tension but now you realize a feeling deeply relaxed.

Opening up and sinking.

Feeling heavy and relaxed.

Your throat and neck muscles gradually release themselves.

And once again you find that it's even easier to breathe through your throat.

You put this feeling away in your memory.

This realization that your body can relax this deeply.

That it can be this pleasurable to simply be here and breathe.

And right now you reclaim this feeling as your own.

That you can recall when you need to relax and feel good.

Simply sit here now within this feeling of relaxation and awareness.

Feel your breath moving pleasurably within you.

Slowly and evenly filling you up.

And leaving you with a deeply relaxing sound and a feeling.

A warm vibration.

A tangible sense of rightness about being right here,

Right now.

Take a moment to see that you are now floating in a vast space.

It's like a cavern with no walls.

An enormous unlimited place where you float.

Unhindered.

Safe.

Secure.

Peaceful.

Deeply relaxed.

And incredibly comfortable.

From here it's easy to see your feelings about food.

You sit here in your relaxation and gaze at your food feelings.

Just watching.

There's no judgement.

There's no criticism.

Your mind might even be trying to do those things but here high up above floating in peace.

You watch it knowing that that's just a mind talking.

It's not you.

You're right here.

Taking it all in.

Watching your ideas of food float in front of you.

Watching how you felt in the past.

Perhaps in the deep past.

Those food choices that you once felt ashamed of,

You now see are simply part of your journey.

You had to make those choices at the time.

Even those ones you made yesterday were simply part of your path.

Your path to here.

Right now.

Listening where you are taking action to move on.

You watch feelings outside of yourself.

Those feelings of guilt,

Pain,

Of shame.

Sitting there outside your floating bubble of peace.

Unable to affect you.

Here where you are.

So relaxed.

You see a picture of yourself floating into your field of view.

Notice there's an energy extending from this body somewhere.

You see it or feel it or maybe you smell it or hear it.

You see yourself hovering in space and observe dispassionately.

Your deep breathing is so relaxing.

It's so easy to just sit here and watch.

Just watch what's happening.

This energy extending from this other you floating is a pulse and it goes to the food.

Your ideas of food.

You see the food too and notice that there's an energy around the food that your pulse is trying to find like an octopus tentacle feeling and searching out a toy.

Take some deep breaths as you observe from up here as you feel your body,

Your heavy body grounding you.

It feels so good just floating here watching.

You see the pulse change in shape and energy as it senses the food.

As it senses it can close the circuit by having this food and it can just discharge itself.

Let itself go.

You also notice your picture of yourself changing slightly.

A change in tension as the pulse searches out the food and finally finds it.

Now you notice something unusual happening to the food.

It shifts and morphs and changes subtly wobbling and digitizing like it's on a bad TV channel.

You slowly see that it's not really food.

It's something else.

Something you really need.

It's something you really want.

It's something you desire within you.

Something you want to hold or touch or sense or feel.

What is that?

You again feel your breath moving deeply within your body in and out.

Feel your body floating here in space.

Feeling deeply relaxed and calm.

You're watching the scene in front of you with utter calmness and detachment.

A deep peace that permeates every part of you.

And you wonder what is that?

You see it in the image before you clears up.

You see it clearly sparkling before you and you notice the pulse that once extended from your body picture has now disappeared.

Any residue of the food has fallen away and what sits before you now starts to speak to you in whatever way you're able to hear.

You realize deeply that there was never food that you needed.

But really this thing here before you,

This wonderful thing that now takes the place of the food you once needed.

It now tells you what you need to know and you are listening,

Taking it all into yourself.

There may not be words.

And you know deep inside that whatever is being communicated to you is going deep inside you.

Where you will now remember it forever.

This information is deeply personal and important.

And you feel the power within this information forming inside you.

Filling you up,

Expanding you,

Giving you untold power and wonder.

You now know that you can travel back here whenever you want to and revisit this place and this being before you to regain your knowledge of what once was lost.

You see that this thing before you and your floating body are now floating together in this space,

Close to each other.

Your deep mind now creates a perfect completion within this space.

Your floating body and the thing communicating and coming to completion as you watch.

As you observe from your point,

You see yourself where you are now joining the completion in whatever way you need to.

Your deep mind calming you as you find yourself absorbing whatever energy you need at this time from this experience.

Take your time to complete whatever you need to.

Now take some deep breaths in and out.

In and out.

And you feel refreshed as if you've just been washed and dressed in new and comfortable clothes.

Your body feels wonderful,

Energized and youthful,

Buzzing softly with its new found power and knowledge.

Now that you have gained what you need at this time,

You bid your farewells knowing that this place is always available to you to visit at any time.

You now start to leave knowing that once you awake you will be forever carrying the energy you gained from here.

Now you will begin to wake yourself by counting from 1 to 5.

1.

You feel your body slowly begin to awaken.

2.

Your mind starts to open itself to the world outside your eyes.

3.

Your mind and body start to wake themselves together.

You feel the sensations and sounds of the outside world.

4.

Your limbs and torso begin to feel light and awake.

As the heaviness leaves,

Leaving a vibrancy in its wake.

And 5.

Your eyes gradually open and you stretch your body,

Leaving the world inside until next time and welcoming the outside world back in with a sensation of gratitude and lightness.
